ATBASH CIPHER
i know i should stop believing
i know there's no retrieving
i know there's no retrieving
It'll ease the pain away... but at what cost? Atbash didn't want to end up vomiting the next morning - or, hell, the next hour, even. She had nothing against Dagon and his drinking; he could do what he wanted, and if drinking helped him relax, then that was fine. That just wasn't her type of thing. Atbash simply shook her head slightly, wincing a bit in surprise as he insulted her. He doesn't mean it. She had to tell herself. It was just who Dagon was: drunk and blunt. Even if his words hurt, she knew (or rather, hoped) he didn't mean them.
"Did... did he just disappear?" Atbash was quite alarmed at the news. Dimitri was the host, wasn't he? He couldn't just up and disappear, could he? That wasn't how it worked? She honestly had no idea, and she probably should just be asking her questions out loud, but hopefully Dagon would get her implications in that one question.
