PEYTRIVIING M.
✯ — I KNOW WHERE YOU'VE BEEN, OH
space
the confrontation had not gone as peytriviing had planned. they had figured it was a mistake. perhaps a prank gone wrong, or simply a mishandled situation on their part. as far as the manticore knew there were no quarrels between the two. it appeared differently once given explanation.
the culprit had come forward with ease at the accusation. unexpected on their part, and esklav had peytri completely fooled for a moment that they would hold themselves high and return the stolen goods. it was... frustrating, to say the least. peytri's anger still boiled at the skin and they felt ready to claw them all apart over the pettiness. upping security... fuck you. they thought to themselves, lip curling as their memory of the males stoic expression kept them pissed off.
they hadn't spoken much to blueridge or kunta on the way back home. not that there really was much to put in; they were a lively couple that was for sure. most of what they spoke about they could not relate to anyway. instead they left the pair to lead on while they hung back to think over what had happened.
"we failed." peytriviing growled as they halted beside their companions. "the perpetrator was esklav, apparently he stole from us and had no plan on returning our food. they can't hunt for themselves but they can apparently act like leeches to everyone else." pathetic. if they couldn't find food in their own home perhaps they should move? no sense in staying in barren lands.
"though, yes we have gained a member. I r=trust blueridge's opinion of him, even if it may be bias." their tone is lighter here, and followed with a small smile aimed at the two. "I can call for double the hunting parties. perhaps- jiyu- alter our routes at night. so this doesn't happen again." anything else that called for retaliation would be up to prestige, unfortunately.
