STRANGE TASTES - open; return with + one - rhosmari - 08-20-2018 [align=center][div style="0px; width:450px; height:auto; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height:13px; color:black;"]Things could have gone better but then again she hadn't thought that they would. Anyone that was willing to chock someone out and steal food just for the hell of it could only leave to weak minded individuals who thought it was okay to do so. It created a vicious cycle that would only stop if the head of the source was chopped off. These were things she had learned from her early childhood in a life that had beaten her raw both physically, mentally, and emotionally. But there had still been some hope that the Pitt would cooperate with them and give them back the food that they had taken. Yet learning that this had not been a simple mistake and infact had been some kind of given order or task made it quite known that this had been planned. So was there already some type of misgivings between the Rosebloods and this Pitt group? Whatever the case she hoped that Prestige wouldn't allow for this to stand. Her paws moved at a slower pace as she walked behind Pey, gaze shifting over the more familiar grounds as she entered the dense and dark forest that shrouded out the light from touching the ground. It was still interesting how this worked and she allowed a soft breath to leave her. She had to do a bit more moving to keep up with the two animals that she was walking with. Ah, yes two. There was another with them besides Pey and she was pleased with the outcome actually. Things were looking better now and she would thank Fate for bringing them back together and adding another member into the Rosebloods. Her eyes flicked up to look at the larger dark male, the tiger pelt he wore covering much of his body and something she couldn't remember him wearing last. But it suited him and she then turned her gaze back to the present and what was before them. They were coming upon the mansion now and she waited for the doors to open before settling down in the foyer. There was really no real reason to go all the way to the throne room in her mind and she rolled her shoulders as she attempted to lean against Kunta's leg, gaze narrowed in almost hostility as she thought about the Pitt. "Well, it could have gone better but then again I suppose we should have known better. Prestige we are back!" The woman called out idly before she straightened herself a bit more and pulled her ears forward and curled her thick and fluffy tail against her body. "We have something to report and we also brought back with us someone who would like to join and stay here with us." Someone who was very special to her and she glanced up at Kunta once more before focusing on the task at hand. She'd let Pey deliver the news and add her own thoughts to it after they were done. That way all the information would be given from the two view points and how it had happened in their own opinions. [member=1814]PEYTRIVIING P.[/member] [member=1699]PRESTIGE N. A mansion? Well, that certainly beat a hot desert any day yet the smell of carrion didn't seem all that appealing to him though he had no room to complain or at least, he never did to begin with. He would adapt eventually, he figured that it would be easier especially with Blueridge at his side once more as he sat down feeling her leaning against his leg would he wrap his tail around her. His curved ears would twitch briefly, the tiger skin wearing jaguar would glance around the foyer with his eyes noting all the details of the mansion. He had never stepped into one of these before so it felt quite off to him, he didn't think all too much about it as long as he had some form of foliage to hide within. He supposed that this would be an interesting change to living outdoors, his whiskers twitched briefly glancing over to the manticore that had accompanied Blueridge. Peytrviing, was it? Certainly an interesting name but the name of someone else made the jaguar become a bit attentative despite his eyes not revealing any form of emotion. Prestige. He assumed that was the leader of the Rosebloods. Certainly an interesting clan so far, he supposed. Though he didn't utter a single word waiting for the presence of these other clanmates, his new clanmates.

Tucked within a corner of the foyer, rarely did he find need to move beyond, he seemed half a ghost curled into himself, slow raise of his sides all to betray his status as a living being and not a wayward ghost. Upon a frame toned in blue do dark eyes wander, tail giving a half-hearted movement, barely rising from the ground before it is falling once more. Yet this other, a creature wreathed in a smell harsh to the canine, lips drawing back in uncertainty, watching the two interact. Is he a friend welcome here or a wandered as Deval had been given shelter from the harsh elements? There seemed no room for such line of thought, indeed there seemed never to be anything of real depths within his mind for it as one for simple structure, catching on instinct and holding there, driven by emotion rather than the structure of word, and so it was pushed aside in favour of action. Lifting himself and taking a few short seconds to stretch out limbs grown numb, annoyance marking a soft growl, he made a slow approach, head lowered as he circled around the room. Ears flattened against his skull and lips peeled back to show teeth gleaming with saliva, yet the slow flick of movement, tail taking a gentle wag though the slight curl to it makes such hard to notice, sway of his body almost masking it for a show of peace. There is no anger in the stance, it is one of playful aggression, head shaking as he dips down into a bow, looking to Blueridge with a gaze touched with a clear question – friend or foe. Re: STRANGE TASTES - open; return with + one - Jiyu Simul Stamus - 08-20-2018 She had stayed up ever since Pey and Blue had left after being given a mission relating to retrieving stolen food peacefully. While most of her reasoning for remaining awake was related to her normal guarding duties and obsession? She had another purpose for remaining awake that she would never directly admit to anyone. Admitting the second reason she stayed awake no matter how late it got, would also be admitting there was care to her that the majority of her group didn't even know existed. Pey was her partner, an apprentice of sorts as well in some ways being so inexperienced at the job compared to her, she was worried about him. Every second that the other guard was away? She grew increasingly internally worried that he had been killed or captured by the enemy, going into a situation where you knew the other group was unfriendly with only two animals was foolish, dangerous. While it seemed she was simply scanning for danger as normal, she was actually perched on top of the mansion to see the return of Blue and her fellow guard the second they got back into sight range. If they weren't back in enough time to ease her worry? She would surely be talking about another patrol to get them back. Luckily, it seemed they had just needed to learn the intended lesson she had in mind when she retreated to the mansion roof, she would have felt so guilty letting them do it if the lesson had been any harsher. In the end? She willingly chose to stop convincing them otherwise, let them walk into what she knew would be a loss in terms of the main objective. Even if she knew that she could not have convinced them otherwise at the time? She would still blame herself if they had come back injured or not come back at all, she had wanted to go with so she could be there to protect them, but she couldn't the mansion without a guard. Being unable to protect everyone? Was still agony even if she looked completely emotionless, it tore her up inside the idea they could be getting hurt and she was stuck in home territory unable to do anything to help them. Jiyu was happy they were back unharmed, at least she would be happy if she could be happy, but no emotions, so she wasn't happy it was something else, something much more muted but still fond enough that she knew everything was momentarily alright. "It's alright Deval." she would die before the visitor Blue seemed to be bringing home with her would be allowed to harm anyone. However, it was likely the other feline had enough sense not to bring back anyone who would suddenly turn on them, in all likelihood they had gained a new ally in resecuring their food if Pres in his peaceful way did not decide to just let The Pitt get away with this. Of course, she would not trust this newcomer the way she trusted everyone else for a good while, he did most likely come from the camp of an enemy. Even if no one else had declared The Pitt as their enemies? Jiyu already knew that was what they were, no ally or neutral would steal food, potentially sentencing members of the other group to death if more food could not be swiftly reobtained. There was no more need for words right now, she took up her place, a position that ensured she could protect everyone should Blue's friend serve to not be friendly as the other rose believed he was. Talking about things right now, until the newcomer had been taken care of? Would not be productive. Also, it put off her refusing to say that they had done well to at least bring back someone even if they seemed to get no food back. Losing one of their own ranks? Would hurt the enemy, and if Pres finally decided to go for a plan that would work, would make her job easier. If they used her plan instead of giving up? She sure as hell was not going to let Pey be the one stealing the food back, he was large, now recgonizeable by the enemy, not to mention young and inexperienced. Jiyu would insist on being one of the few who went in, considering the fact it would not be her first time doing something like her idea, thus she stood the best chance at getting in and out unharmed. None of that was important right now, mismatched dead optics blinked once as her ears pricked forward to Blue and Pey, tipping down slightly. "Everyone is unharmed." she didn't ask like it was a question, but it was even if she didn't ask it properly. If anyone was harmed? She was going to have to eat someone from The Pitt in retribution. Re: STRANGE TASTES - open; return with + one - rhosmari - 08-20-2018 [align=center][div style="0px; width:450px; height:auto; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height:13px; color:black;"]Things were quiet it seemed and she was pretty okay with that. Although she was always alert anyway and a small movement in a corner caught her attention. Orange red eyes shifted over to the area slowly as claws scrapped against the ground and she straightened up just a bit more. The figure that approached was none other than Deval. Her head tilted to the side as she took in the way he advanced forward, circling them with ears laid flat. His saliva coated teeth visible for the barest of moments but she also saw the none aggression in his body language and she allowed a even tilt of her head when he bowed for that short moment. Interesting. She wasn't the type to be all too comfortable around the youths but she did have a daughter at one point in her life. One whom was still dear to her heart but she also had a feeling that she wouldn't see Sephora again. She hoped that nothing had happened to the young doe. Her tail lightly twitched, a minor movement before she gave a half nod of her head even as Jiyu approached the scene. "He's a friend, Deval. We have a long history together and he's my boyfriend." The idea struck her then. Would they ever get married? It was plausible but she wasn't sure of it just yet. Shifting her gaze back to Jiyu she allowed an even look to spread over her facial features. Her eyes were placid for the moment and showed a false semblance of peace. One ear twitched as she listened to the surrounding area for any other movement that would tell her others were approaching before she allowed a minor scoff to lift from her muzzle. "Well, we were told to handle the situation peacefully." It was a good idea to start with peace first. That was their only warning in what they had done and she understood that. If they didn't then that wasn't her problem but their own and it wouldn't make their lives any easier. Although she guessed that they didn't have to be peaceful upon the border if they didn't want to be. But the lack of forethought from one of their members was interesting to say the least. the confrontation had not gone as peytriviing had planned. they had figured it was a mistake. perhaps a prank gone wrong, or simply a mishandled situation on their part. as far as the manticore knew there were no quarrels between the two. it appeared differently once given explanation.
the culprit had come forward with ease at the accusation. unexpected on their part, and esklav had peytri completely fooled for a moment that they would hold themselves high and return the stolen goods. it was... frustrating, to say the least. peytri's anger still boiled at the skin and they felt ready to claw them all apart over the pettiness. upping security... fuck you. they thought to themselves, lip curling as their memory of the males stoic expression kept them pissed off. they hadn't spoken much to blueridge or kunta on the way back home. not that there really was much to put in; they were a lively couple that was for sure. most of what they spoke about they could not relate to anyway. instead they left the pair to lead on while they hung back to think over what had happened. "we failed." peytriviing growled as they halted beside their companions. "the perpetrator was esklav, apparently he stole from us and had no plan on returning our food. they can't hunt for themselves but they can apparently act like leeches to everyone else." pathetic. if they couldn't find food in their own home perhaps they should move? no sense in staying in barren lands. "though, yes we have gained a member. I r=trust blueridge's opinion of him, even if it may be bias." their tone is lighter here, and followed with a small smile aimed at the two. "I can call for double the hunting parties. perhaps- jiyu- alter our routes at night. so this doesn't happen again." anything else that called for retaliation would be up to prestige, unfortunately. space

He assumed that this group could take of themselves when it came to hunting, but apparently not. The lion slunk up to the scene, looking at the returning Rosebloods with a neutral expression. His eyes settled on the stranger that had come with them, the blue-green color harsh and searching. His eyes then returned to his more familiar groupmates.”Perhaps we increase guarding at night?” The lion suggested to Peytriviing, his whiskers twitching as he put forth his idea. ”At the very least set guards in various places to catch this before it happens again. And catch larger prey, both to feed us more and make it harder for thieves to transport.” Sephiroth was more than capable of both those admittedly, his enhanced senses could keep guard well enough and he could take down larger kills. He would make sure to keep his ears open and claws sharp for any possible incidents in the future. It gave him something to focus on, to do. Though from the looks of it, Peytriviing wasn't quite ready to trust their newest member yet... Or perhaps Lydia was just in the bad habit of projecting onto others. Regardless, she'd found it a little strange that they'd gone to find a perpetrator or perhaps food, and come back with a stranger. The red tabby approached the group slowly, managing to slip in gracefully beside of Sephiroth as she listened to Peytriviing's explanation of exactly what had happened. "Increasing the guarding at night sounds like a good idea..." Lydia agreed, her mind elsewhere as her gaze flitted evenly between Blueridge and her boyfriend. "If you ever decide to get married," she commented offhandedly, probably not the most appropriate timing "Let me know. I'd love to help plan it." They didn't trust him and he didn't necessarily mind or he just didn't care, he believed it was better that way since it was smarter. He could easily turn on them if he pleased though it was a very doubtful thing since his girlfriend had seemed to have made a home for herself here. His eyes narrowed slightly watching those arrive but he didn't seem to have any intent in speaking to any of them, his nose twitched at the sight of Deval. His interest seemed to peek suddenly as his curved ears angled forward with his whiskers twitching in an amused way though he was more intrigued than amused. The body language, he detected playful aggression yet the bow that was directed to Blueridge made him raise a non-existent eyebrow though it only lasted for a moment. Blueridge would then introduce him as her boyfriend, indeed, he had quite the history with her though his thoughts didn't linger all that long hearing Pey pitch in. How kind,he supposed.
#psychosocial.Increasing guard and hunting patrols. He could participate in those gladly, he would roll his shoulders under the tiger skin as he finally spoke in his usual blunt voice "I am Kunta Ghana," He was level-headed and his posture was firm, his tail flicked to the sides briefly "I can provide assistance if you will allow me to," He said finally though his attention was drawn to the last being there, he let out a grunt of agreement though what she said next made the usually standoffish, stoic jaguar's ears twitch and his pupils widened for a moment before narrowing once more. Marriage. Was it too early to get married? He was not certain, this was the second time he was reunited with Blueridge and he wanted to spend an eternity with her. His heart was racing within his chest at the thought, he would clear his throat raising a non-existent eyebrow at Lydia "I will take your offer of helping into consideration," He wouldn't drop any hints that he would propose any time soon though his tail would coil around Blue's. Kunta wasn't the most affectionate but he would try showing his love for the blue molly as subtly as he could. He wasn't supposed to know about them, and his heart was more focused on the sky above and his books and tomes rather than following whomever he found attractive, which as of now? No one. That being said, he knows that new people are supposed to be welcomed, but why was Pey sounding like they were frustrated? Someone had gotten away? That wasn't right, they were the Rosebloods! Nobody was able to outwit or outfight them right? He doesn't comment on that, but he does welcome both Blue and Kunta with a small smile and a quiet greeting, feeling a little uncomfortable with the idea that something went wrong. He hates it when things go wrong. |
