What it was and what it could do. It could be for sport or it could be used for a challenge and either way she was respectful with regards to it for if not then the Hunt could surely turn nasty in a matter of seconds. She remembered when one of her last Hunts was very much unsuccessful and left a rather bitter taste in her mouth. It hadn't been the best of her times but she had learned from it and shifted her strategy accordingly and now there seemed to be a Hunt rising up once again. Her eyes were open and looking up at the sky when she heard the sound of a howl, one that wasn't familiar but caused and excitement to rise up within her. Flicking her tail slowly back and forth the woman would wait a moment, closing her eyes and just listening to the sounds around her. Her form became still as she picked up the sound of something. Thrashing and moving paws that thudded against the ground and moving closer and closer to the mansion. For a moment she didn't move and then her gaze snapped open just as she got a view of the elk female that was desperately trying to get away from Deval.
It was not in her nature to butt into someone else's Hunt. It gave them the experience that they needed to take down something stronger and perhaps even more powerful than them. To prove their worth and so she didn't move at all and instead waited to see how this would turn out. After all there was no need when it seemed Jiyu had answered the call and slipped her own turn into the fray. Would the redirection work and Deval be able to make the killing blow? Or would the female prey be smarter than that and run over the much smaller predator or even leap over the creature all together. There were many different ways this could go but the woman hoped for a successful Hunt for Deval. After all he was young and this would serve to give him a boost about where he lived and how he interacted with others. Her gaze became lazy as she curled her paws underneath her body, careful of the large and thick claws she wore as her weapons as she debated over the proceedings.
