❝ YOU SHOULD SEE ME IN A CROWN — YOUR SILENCE IS MY FAVORITE SOUND ❞
Pincher did not find much comfort in the past if he was completely honest. His childhood had been one of withered pain and loss of innocence, chipping away to reveal the layer of brutal honesty that one had to admit to when facing the cruelities in this word. If the world was cruel and ruthless, you had to be more of that in order to survive. He had to admit that he was rather glad that he was created into who his father and uncle had molded him to be, a perfect mixture of both personalities. His father's intimidating rough intense ambition for the best and his uncle's cunning strategic charm that complimented and eased the ruggedness of his hybrid personality. But the memories of how he was made in who he was...were not fond. He was not who he had been born, the dreams that he had as a child were just crumpled papers burned and unreadable to the world.
Pincher wasn't his real name. It was just a false one he carried because it was one he was used to. To be fully honest, he hated how he had gotten the name. It had been a nickname made out of mockery and cruel amusement after young child had his nose pinched by a king crab and had cried about it. Instead of comfort, his father and his gang members laughed and decided to name him Pincher, his true name tossed into the dirt to bury. Even his name Deniz was not his birthname. Deniz was the name that his father had changed from his true birthname, Delmar. He had only just recently found out the truth of his name and frankly, was conflicted in returning to Delmar or Deniz. But after careful deciding, the male decided to remain with Pincher. A mocking nickname but one he hoped would ring with pride after his hardwork in the Typhoon. He wanted to show that despite being seen as just some joke in his father's eyes, he was going to become who he believed a person named Pincher could be.
The male had been relaxing in the tavern for quite some time, his body hunched over a drink that was a mix of bitter black coffee and sharp whiskey, a drink he took on the daily. However, he appeared rather drained and not in the mood for it as he lapped lazily at the drink, wincing at how it did not soothe the itch in his throat that caused him to cough softly. He mumbled soft curses before deciding to step outside with his hazy aqua blue gaze locked onto an odd form...a dragon. His dark cinder gray head tipped to the side as he strode closer with slight caution. He noticed they seemed rather relaxed and then he noticed that the scent he was familiar with was clinging to the stranger and the wildcat halted, broad shoulders relaxing as he muttered ”A...Argus? It's you right?” Pincher’ senses were struggling on gripping reality due to the sickness that was weighing him down as he sniffed, confused and perplexed.
