"If it something you don't want to discuss, I won't pry any further." She replies in a rush to get the words, fearing she's caused any offence. She knows the guarded tone well, one that firmly states that she stop her inquiries now and turn the topic to different things. The tone that the Elders would take when she asked the wrong questions, the wrong actions and she would rather avoid being the cause for that tone in Lucifer. After all she has no qualms with him, she's just curious.

"I... I should explain. My duties as a shaman invariably involved working with spirits and the Gods. You are neither -or at least you are nothing that I recognise... I am merely curious. I mean you no harm, although I doubt that I could cause you any." It's true that if she were someone provoked to violence easily, she would still stand no chance against a dragon. There's something about Lucifer that would deter her even if he wasn't a dragon, perhaps it was her self preservation kicking in. It didn't kick in all that often, granted, but it was still warning her that there something... Off about her crewmate.
