Shigaraki was in it for the rush, she knew that. He loved to see disturbed reactions on others' faces, and he surely did get one from Tsuyu at the news.
She remembered everything now, though. It had hit her, she had.. She had been struck down by electricity when she was swimming Tokoyami to safety. She was trying to swim, she remembered that faintly. Soft chokes left the hybrid as Tsuyu woke up from yet another nightmare, screaming and in cold sweat. She did it.
It was her fault. It was her fault. It was her fault.
Her emotions were intense, and as tears bubbled up at the corner of her eyes, the snow around her seemed to shift violently. Suddenly, ice shot out of the ground, raising up and surrounding her like a cage. A loud shriek of panic left the frog as the cage covered itself at the top, not allowing her to escape.
"It was my fault.. My fault.." She whined out, covering her ears with her paws and digging her claws in, her face pushing into the ground. She couldn't control this ice. She couldn't. It was too much. She was too unstable.
