Shigaraki was in it for the rush, she knew that. He loved to see disturbed reactions on others' faces, and he surely did get one from Tsuyu at the news.
She remembered everything now, though. It had hit her, she had.. She had been struck down by electricity when she was swimming Tokoyami to safety. She was trying to swim, she remembered that faintly. Soft chokes left the hybrid as Tsuyu woke up from yet another nightmare, screaming and in cold sweat. She did it. It was her fault. It was her fault. It was her fault. Her emotions were intense, and as tears bubbled up at the corner of her eyes, the snow around her seemed to shift violently. Suddenly, ice shot out of the ground, raising up and surrounding her like a cage. A loud shriek of panic left the frog as the cage covered itself at the top, not allowing her to escape. "It was my fault.. My fault.." She whined out, covering her ears with her paws and digging her claws in, her face pushing into the ground. She couldn't control this ice. She couldn't. It was too much. She was too unstable. /shitty starting post but she's unlocked water manip space

The scream was what caught Gwen's attention, and the kitsune hurried over towards it, and black paws slipped on the thin ice surrounding the hybrid, and the Snowbounder struggled to keep her balance. "Tsuyu?" She had been tempted to ask if she was okay, but it was quite obvious that the female wasn't okay, and probably wasn't going to be if Gwen forced her way past the ice. Not that she had the courage to, or power, for that matter. "I d-don't know what you're talking about, but I'm sure it's not y-you're fault."
Re: HOLDING ON && breakdown + power discovery [development] - ATBASH CIPHER. - 08-12-2018 ATBASH CIPHER i know i should stop believing i know there's no retrieving
Having a guilt complex was something Atbash could relate to. Atbash always felt guilty for how Caesar had turned out to become, and often told herself that if she just stopped him rather than talk things out, everything would be different. She wouldn't be harmed by him, she wouldn't be stuck on Earth, and she would be with her family again. The sound of Tsuyu's scream alerted Atbash and the she-cat quickly ran over, though she didn't arrive in time. By the time she came to the scene, Tsuyu was already trapped in an ice-cage and honestly, that was quite terrifying, to be trapped in a cage made by your own powers. "Hey, Tsuyu, it's okay," Atbash spoke slowly in a smooth tone, trying to sooth the hybrid. The she-cat slowly moved towards the cage, though didn't get too close. Not just yet. She briefly glanced over at Gwen as she heard her trying to comfort Tsuyu as well, before turning her attention back to the latter. "Everyone makes mistakes. It's okay." bio | female | hailcaller [leader] of snowbound © madi
