some quick important history of pinch:
- separated from daphne and his mom early age
- tried to run away but archie forced him into the crew
- wanted to make maps and travel but archie demanded that he focused on thievery instead
- met theodosia and fell in love, marrying her
- had two kids (two boys, named donovan and theseus) but theseus was sacrificed by the gypsy witches, donovan managed to escape but was later thrown into the ocean, drowning and his body was never found
- theodosia was sent away to marry someone else and her father explained that it had been pinch's father that had revealed their secret love
- enraged, pinch went out to seek his father and killed him, becoming the new captain of the nautical mile
- pinch was later reunited with daphne and the two decided to unite forces, the crew and the tribe to create the typhoon
