The summer’s heat sweltered severely, and Leroy was panting madly. You’d think that hanging out in a swamp would kind of, you know, drive out the high temperatures. Well, you’d be wrong. Furthermore, it’s made all the worse when you take the bugs into perspective. It was hot, humid, and the insects were hostile. Which was why it was to his utmost pleasure when he heard someone shoot the phrase “pool party”, followed up by “free ice pops and cold water”, and to be frank, that was all he needed right now.
As he came closer, one of the two people there he recognized from the encounter from before with Abathur. Ooh, this would be interesting. Leroy didn’t have any current problem against the spider, and he had even apologized for freaking out before Vigenere confronted him. He didn’t want this topic to strike up a conversation, at a pool party no less, though Leroy felt that it was inevitable (unless Vigenere had matured the least bit since the last time they spoke). Assuming that the subject matter were to come up, he would be the better man, and not engage. Leroy wasn’t a fool, he didn’t dwell on the stuff of the past; the real business was the stuff happening in the future.
"’S a nice thing you’ve got here. Morgan, was it?". The other pup he had met before as well, back on the day he first joined. The fluffy one, the one of the few who wasn’t a complete nincompoop. By the looks of it, he could turn into freaking iceman, because Leroy could spot what looked like a waterslide made of frozen water. ”I like what you’ve done t’ this place. ‘T’s pretty cool.”
