BASTILLEPRISONER AURELIUS
BY THE GRACE OF THE FIRE AND THE FLAMES
Past lives were a bitch. Bastille supposed that some had a smoother transition from one life to the next, such as those who simply slipped into a new body with their fucking memories and everything intact. Grimmkit, for instance, had been fine serving as a host. He was a true host, capable of handling the full force of the memory store Wilhelm Grimm kept within his hosts, and it'd been easy for him. It was easy for some others. But Bastille? No, his souls made shit messy, and he was a fucking disaster of a host. His past lives were ruining his current ones and he could barely even access all of Grimm's memories without putting himself into a goddamn coma.

Speaking of, the snippets of the past were still floating over his vision. He stopped beside Thea and looked at this stranger and saw fur that was the wrong color and strange objects resting on the floor beside him. Bastille did his best to ignore the illusions and offered a tight smile, drawling, "What'd'ya want, leaper?" Tribe slang slipped from his tongue easily, feeling Echo's memories hovering on the surface of his thoughts.

Honey, you're familiar, like my mirror years ago, Idealism sits in prison, chivalry fell on his sword, Innocence died screaming; honey, ask me, I should know, I slithered here from Eden just to sit outside your door.   [sup]▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃[/sup]
