”Digging, of course.” Snare would say, dryly but not meanly. He was in a neutral mood, bored but not frustrated or angry. No need to be too snappy with this crewmate. ”Not sure what I’m looking for. Whatever you find in sand I guess. Well, I’m looking for something to do. Guess that counts for something.” The puppy would turn and dip his nose back into the sand and nose about, snuffling and snorting through the grain. Exhaling to keep the sand form his nostrils, Snare search for something for anything in the depths.
Wait! There was something! Small and cool against his muzzle. ”Found something. Not a crab though.” Snare would comment, pawing and nudging about in the sand to unearth his treasure. After a minute or so, the wolf pup emerged from his pit with something glittering dangling from his jaws. It was a necklace, golden and smooth with two small white spheres, most likely tiny pearls, set in the center next to each other. It was caked in sand so it wasn’t particular shiny, but with some cleaning it could be rather nice. Nothing exceptionally fancy, but to the bored Typhoon minnow it was something interesting at least to examine.

Snare’s body was practically coated in sand at this point, accenting his already dusty colored fur with a rusty tint. He didn’t really mind the grainy texture coating his body, nor any other sensation that this task would give him. Then again he didn’t really care about much in general. The pup’s pale eyes studied Luca, his crewmate that was a stranger to him at the moment. Shaking out his messy pelt a small bit, the minnow would put his paws on the edge of the small hole he had created and look out at Luca.”Digging, of course.” Snare would say, dryly but not meanly.
