BASTILLEPRISONER AURELIUS
BY THE GRACE OF THE FIRE AND THE FLAMES
Bastille had no idea what the fuck Moon was doing fucking around in the planetarium, and he didn't bother to go investigate that afternoon. He was certain he'd find out later, and had a patrol or three to go on before he resorted to pestering Moon. He liked the Halo, obviously, but Bast had a feeling that engaging him meant sacrificing a few hours to shenanigans. Moon struck him as the sort to suck you in like that. Which... well, he didn't particularly mind. He was easy to be around and chill enough not to irritate Bast. That was good enough for him in terms of picking friends, frankly.
It was the subtle tugging of Hazel on their bond that finally drew him towards the set up, little golden thread going taunt between them and yanking his attention towards her. She rarely called on him so precisely, and thrown for a moment, Bast stopped in the middle of what he was doing. And then he shook his head -- both to clear the confusion of Hazel asking for him and to clear the superimposed visions dotting his eyesight -- and headed in her direction, chasing the draw. What he found was... interesting, to say the least.
"Damn, boo, if you wanted to ask me out, you didn't have to set all of this up," Bastille said dryly as he joined them, smirking slightly as he gaze landed on Moon. He forced himself not to look straight to Hazel the second he arrived, and instead looked at her after a moment, studying her and Peri briefly. "Hey, you two. Enjoying Moon's shitty movie?" Bast didn't actually know it, but whatever. (If he did he would note that Marie reminded him suspiciously of his mother.)

Honey, you're familiar, like my mirror years ago, Idealism sits in prison, chivalry fell on his sword, Innocence died screaming; honey, ask me, I should know, I slithered here from Eden just to sit outside your door. [sup]▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃[/sup]
