Perhaps, had she originated from a place where such things were accessible. Alas, Imperia's childhood was filled with books and song and all the simpler things in life. Well, as simple as they could be when living with a tyrannical father. It is not the she-wolf's fault that Moonmade has introduced her to so many things that she has only read about within the span of time in which he has lived in the Ascendants. In fact, he should feel honored that he gets to experience Imperia's many "firsts." First laughter in liberation, first person she allows to touch her, first person to learn she hates confinement, and now the first person to introduce her to movies.
Luminous silver eyes are mesmerized by the moving pictures, entranced by the songs and how it all seems to flow when she feels something touch her side. Peri seems to freeze, surprised by Moon's sudden gesture for a moment, but relaxes shortly afterwards. In fact, she seems to lean into his side. Not much, but enough. Granted, she is far too shy to look at him, no matter how pleased she is. "Catnip does not affect canines the same way it affects felines," she replies finally, seeming to have purposefully "missed" the joke. Peri is accustomed to Moon's teasing by now, and does her best not to let him get her goat. Several minutes pass in silence, and with each second, the girl slowly gathers her courage to glance over at him.
She freezes. Moon is...he’s pink. Not his fur, but his aura. A soft, gentle pink the color of roses. Imperia is surprised. She shouldn’t be, given the fact that he just did the “arm-around-the-shoulder-at-the-movies” thing, but Peri isn’t exactly aware of how people feel about her. She’s used to being kind and not expecting anything in return. Why would she ever consider that maybe, just maybe, someone would start actually liking her. You know...in that way. Maybe she’s wrong? This ability is so new that perhaps she is mistaken. Yeah. That must be it. Peri doesn’t realize she’s been staring until she turns her head back to the screen. Oh Maker...
