it was almost the same here. though he hadn't known what thea did to get on him in the first occurrence, it clicked in his mind that she could somehow move from place to place when her form disappeared. orange eyes darted above him and he moved his head to the side, considering snatching her out of the air for a moment, but his thoughts were interrupted by owen's barks. indo simply side-stepped to avoid the child's attack, attention now focused on the german shepherd as he slowly approached.
the beast's lip curled slightly. that tone of voice again. he hated the way these creatures spoke to him, just the same as his captors had. it grated on his nerves, being treated like some dumb animal. despite being unable to form words, he was smart enough to understand their language, to pick up on their body language and stupid behavioral habits. here, though, he didn't attack. only growled out a warning to owen and echo, shifting his stance, mildly curious as to what the "raptor tamer" had to say. indo's eyes narrowed to slits as he watched the canine.
