/just wanted to share that i first made the title 'fart thee well' and ALMOST posted without noticing. i should've left it.

Jericho knows there are other clans around these parts — not here specifically, but... nearby.  Sometimes he catches their scents in the wind when near Sunhaven's border and wonders exactly who they are, whether they're open to trading, whether they are friends or foes.  He prays it is the latter.  The little tabby has put it off since their arrival in the mountains in favor of tending to more insular concerns (or perhaps out of his own anxiousness).  But they're mostly settled in now and he thinks that if not now, he'll never get around to it.  The tom knows he must.

Claws scrabble against the rough stone of the fountain as Jericho attempts to climb atop the lip; for a moment his hind leg dangles below before he less-than-graciously hauls himself up to sit on the edge.  The ginger feline pauses for a moment to sheepishly smooth down his fur and straighten his small frame before he clears his throat in announcement.  "Um, e-everyone!" he calls, keeping the summon informal in tone as to make it known that this is no meeting, but an announcement nevertheless.  Jericho shuffles his paws as he speaks.  "I know I've, ah, h-heard that there are groups nearby — I was thinking that I... um, that we c-could visit and maybe establish some allies or at least t-trade?  I mean it's, uh, g-good to know who your neighbors are."  The last bit is spoken with a half-smile, small and politely reserved but present regardless.  "If anyone would like to a-accompany me... uh, feel free to come!"
