fare thee well — visiting groups! - jericho - 07-29-2018

/just wanted to share that i first made the title 'fart thee well' and ALMOST posted without noticing. i should've left it.

Jericho knows there are other clans around these parts — not here specifically, but... nearby.  Sometimes he catches their scents in the wind when near Sunhaven's border and wonders exactly who they are, whether they're open to trading, whether they are friends or foes.  He prays it is the latter.  The little tabby has put it off since their arrival in the mountains in favor of tending to more insular concerns (or perhaps out of his own anxiousness).  But they're mostly settled in now and he thinks that if not now, he'll never get around to it.  The tom knows he must.

Claws scrabble against the rough stone of the fountain as Jericho attempts to climb atop the lip; for a moment his hind leg dangles below before he less-than-graciously hauls himself up to sit on the edge.  The ginger feline pauses for a moment to sheepishly smooth down his fur and straighten his small frame before he clears his throat in announcement.  "Um, e-everyone!" he calls, keeping the summon informal in tone as to make it known that this is no meeting, but an announcement nevertheless.  Jericho shuffles his paws as he speaks.  "I know I've, ah, h-heard that there are groups nearby — I was thinking that I... um, that we c-could visit and maybe establish some allies or at least t-trade?  I mean it's, uh, g-good to know who your neighbors are."  The last bit is spoken with a half-smile, small and politely reserved but present regardless.  "If anyone would like to a-accompany me... uh, feel free to come!"

Ellie was well aware that there was other groups, all over. She did not care much for them, but in order for peace in Sunhaven, they might as well become allies or whatever with the other groups. The pup would make her way over to the gathering group of her fellow Clanmates, a frown on her maw.

"I can do Tanglewood- I think that's what they're called." Ellie said quietly to Jericho.

IN THE SUMMER SILENCE,
I WAS GETTING VIOLENT
Despite her amusement at how this stuttering, blind cat became leader of the beach town, she supposed he did have a good idea every once and a while. Visiting the other groups certainly sounded good, and was probably necessary if they wanted to get their trading economy up and running. "I'll lead the group to the Typhoon," the muscular tigress stated, her tone leaving no room for arguments - not that she expected any contension, though.

The blonde tabby would purr, brushing past Ellie and Quantum, giving them a grin before glancing back up at the blind Helion. "I can work my charm on them ..." Bridgette added, jokingly, lithe form swaying liberally. Going to see other groups? It was like someone was finally answering her prayers! She always wanted to see the world outside of her little bubble, and Sunhaven was the thing that was providing her dream. Maybe those sun gods were real after all! The feline rose to her paws, ready to go.

[div style="margin: 0 auto; width: 65%; font-family: timesnewroman; font-size: 10pt; text-align: justify;"]Dean has been getting kind of bored of just sticking around Sunhaven, lately. He wasn't the type of person to stay in one place, and the sudden change from 'traveler' to 'clan member' was very, very jarring. He's not even sure how much he likes this place. Seriously, he barely liked any of the people in this damn group besides Jericho and Ellie. But, well, here he was, listening to Jericho stutter out some shit about visiting the other clans. Dean .. doesn't remember the name of the other clans, unfortunately, but he knows there's like .. four of them. Three have already been taken, but Dean can probably remember the location of the fourth one. Or -- wait, there were more groups than that, wasn't there? Other groups that weren't as big as the big four. Well, no matter, Dean wouldn't remember anything about them, anyways. So .. no point, there. Leave it to people who know what they're doing.
"I'll visit, uh, the fourth group. The snowy one," Dean, of course, means Snowbound. The German Shepard gestures vaguely with a paw in a 'i definitely know this group' sort of motion. He'll figure it out, he's not worried. He's found his way to harder to find places, and a giant tundra probably wasn't that hard to find.
