in truth, he couldn't quite feel the cold. he wouldn't have minded the heat of the ascendants, but as soon as lirim had suggested moving together, he dropped all thoughts of staying there. nothing mattered more to him than them. it was almost funny to him, having his lover clinging to his back as he trudged through the land, snow crunching beneath his enormous paws. he was focused on watching where he was going, as best as a blind man could, but the words of the small dragon filled his ears and a small smile twitched at his lips. he kept silent for the moment, waiting until he finally came to a stop beside some pine trees.
bubonicplague turned his head back to lirim as they nuzzled into his fur, letting out an amused rumble at the kiss. "i'm sure they will, my love," the massive wolf murmured. his sightless gaze turned to drift lazily over a spot ahead of them, ears perked to listen for anyone that may approach.
