Soft paws carried them through the snowy landscape, a welcome reprieve from the sweltering heat that had plagued the Ascendants. There was very little over there that kept the place cool, and making do was never Lirim's favorite thing to do, despite being perfectly capable of doing it. No, they preferred to take life easy these days, to avoid unnecessary conflicts where they weren't needed and avoid places that were hot like the very pits of hell.
It was a good thing that Lirim wasn't a man of many allegiances, then. It took petty things like the weather to have them leave and make themselves at home in a place that better suited whatever they needed at the given time. It was the way of the void: politics always flew right above their head, despite them being perfectly capable of reenacting political things if they wanted to. They had been leader of clans, and climbed up to high positions as well with what seemed like very little other than offering some good strategic plan that the other members couldn't think of themselves.
"It's nice here. Cooler than it was back there," the small dragon murmured, clinging onto their mate's back while simultaneously trying not to dig their tiny talons into his skin too harshly. "You recon they'll let us stay, Bubs?" With a soft smile they leaned down to affectionately lick at the scruff of his neck, although they doubted he could feel it given his massive form and the fact that they barely stood over two feet at that given moment, shrinking down to a size that Bubonicplague could have easily carried.

[align=center][div style="width: 500px; padding: 10px; height: auto; overflow: auto;"][div style="width: 400px; padding: 0px; line-height: 14px; text-align: justify; font-family: helvetica;"]it seemed a good thing that they both were not fond of allegiances. perhaps back when he was young he would not have left so easily, but nowadays, he hated to stay in one place for long. along with the fact that he was with lirim again. he would follow them to the edge of the universe. in some sense, he had followed them. bubonicplague had dreamed of seeing his husband again, had wished to every deity in existence. it seemed that one had taken pity on him; allowing them to reunite, to kiss once more, to share words of love and desire as he had wished of doing since the day of their demise.
in truth, he couldn't quite feel the cold. he wouldn't have minded the heat of the ascendants, but as soon as lirim had suggested moving together, he dropped all thoughts of staying there. nothing mattered more to him than them. it was almost funny to him, having his lover clinging to his back as he trudged through the land, snow crunching beneath his enormous paws. he was focused on watching where he was going, as best as a blind man could, but the words of the small dragon filled his ears and a small smile twitched at his lips. he kept silent for the moment, waiting until he finally came to a stop beside some pine trees.
bubonicplague turned his head back to lirim as they nuzzled into his fur, letting out an amused rumble at the kiss. "i'm sure they will, my love," the massive wolf murmured. his sightless gaze turned to drift lazily over a spot ahead of them, ears perked to listen for anyone that may approach.

Aizawa didn't care who came and went, as long as they didn't cause trouble. He wasn't looking to get involved in conflict, as he was both too lazy and too old to do so. Well, he wasn't that old, but still. He definitely wasn't young. He found himself out among the snow, in the middle of the tundra they lived in, his attention caught by forms in the distance. They must have been joiners, or someone who came from another clan, whether to cause trouble or bring alliance gifts. There was always a chance for any option.
With nothing better to do, he shrugged and walked towards the pair, regarding them with uninterested eyes. It wasn't common to get two joiners at a time, but he didn't really blink an eye otherwise. It wasn't odd for people to travel with others. "If you want to stay, then you're welcome," he says after overhearing their small conversation. "Aizawa Shota, the second-in-command here," with that he motions back towards the village where they were staying.
"I can show you the way to camp, if you'd like," might as well be courteous, since they would be sticking around.
"SPEECH"
With nothing better to do, he shrugged and walked towards the pair, regarding them with uninterested eyes. It wasn't common to get two joiners at a time, but he didn't really blink an eye otherwise. It wasn't odd for people to travel with others. "If you want to stay, then you're welcome," he says after overhearing their small conversation. "Aizawa Shota, the second-in-command here," with that he motions back towards the village where they were staying.
"I can show you the way to camp, if you'd like," might as well be courteous, since they would be sticking around.

Izuku .. got overly invested in joiners. He was always pretty upset when they vanished again. This was largely because Izuku was overly invested in Snowbound in general, all of the people Izuku knew here be damned. ... There were a lot of reasons for this, he wasn't going to go into all of them. Izuku was trying not to ramble too much, anyways. It upset people? So he didn't. Or .. tried to didn't. .. Izuku's grammar is ... not the best right now. He hadn't slept nearly as much as he should've. As in, only a few hours after like, three days awake, on top of all of the other days.
Izuku had seen the figures in the distance. He, of course, allows him a soft, exasperated sigh. He bet they were joiners. There'd be so many of them lately. Izuku didn't have any complaints aside from the fact he'd seen almost none of them around since. Even so, Izuku perks up to approach. Aizawa was, luckily, there, so Izuku allows himself to relax as he comes to rest beside the much larger feline. He didn't like being the first one to these things, but he usually was and it was very stressful. "Hi! Welcome to Snowbound!" He chirps. He's used to greeting them, at least. It was very methodical. He didn't have to think about it a ton, it was kind of nice. Izuku liked having greetings to fall back on in these sort of situations. Though he hadn't heard them say they wanted to join, just heard Aizawa greeting them. "I'm Izuku, the Frosthealer. Do you .. want a hot chocolate?" Izuku grins sheepishly as he conjures two hot chocolates to offer. He was used to offering flasks of this stuff by now, it was a very nice tradition to greet people with.

"we're looking to join, yes. though no escort is necessary." he spoke. "my name is bubonicplague. this is lirim." his head gestured to the small dragon on his back, then turned his blind gaze to izuku. he was quiet during the male's greeting and introduction, and though the hot chocolate smelled damn good, he couldn't bring himself to desire any. bubs bobbed his head gratefully nonetheless. "no, but thank you." he said lightly, then turned to lirim, in case they wanted to get down and have some.

He was loyal to his friends, his family and his former fellow-peers, not groups- though he liked being in groups. The tall maned-wolf had strutted right up to the scene, taking a seat right next to Izuku. Red eyes would study the two unfamiliar faces, who he gave a welcoming smile to.
"Welcome to Snowbound!" The lupine said, wagging his long tail and lifting both of his ears upward. "Would you guys like a tour of the territory or would you prefer to explore on your own?"

It was simply how the world worked, and Lirim was only glad that Bubs was actually alright with their constant requests to go here and there and literally anywhere. They almost felt bad, and had half a mind to ask whether or not Bubs wanted to go back to the Ascendants if he so wanted to... but the cool air upon their fur and the friendly faces here that weren't as intimidating as the massive groups that seemed to come out of nowhere back in the Ascendants calmed them down significantly.
If he wanted to go back, this one time Lirim would have to ignore that.
"My love," they tasted the words upon their tongue, and a soft, pleased chirrup left their maw at how it sounded. My love. They shifted closer to his neck, burying their small, antlered head into his scruff, and continued licking it into place even as faces started to appear. They let Bubs speak for now, busy doing something far more important, but then at the mention of hot chocolate and Bubs' almost offensive refusal, Lirim let out a faux gasp, then peered down to where the others stood with a twitch of their tail.
"I'll take one, actually," they hadn't tasted something sweet in ages, and was craving to get themselves something along those lines.

"thank you. we'll explore by ourselves, though your offer is appreciated." yada, yada. he shifted slightly and perked his ears at lirim's fake gasp, laughing quietly as he knelt down to let them off his back. truth be told it had been a long time since he'd had something sweet as well, but the thought of eating or drinking almost... disgusted him. bubonicplague quietly settled himself on the ground, opting to listen to conversation now, unless he was spoken to specifically.
