both wade and vanessa's disappearance had certainly worried the young girl. she tries to keep on top of her crewmates presence and whenever one disappears without warning, she couldn't help but feel worried. especially with the tsunami, she wondered if it had taken a crewmate or two without them knowing. that would surely be awful. it didn't feel good not knowing.
the injured girl had been struggling about the territory, trying to help clean it up after their return. the beaches were still littered with the remains of the waters, though they were certainly better than when they first came back. she was currently messing with a little sea turtle, trying to help it to the shores. she quite liked the island and the ocean's creatures - even that barracuda that'd attacked her. she had managed to train a whale shark, and crab so far. they were all still free to travel where they wanted, but they always came to visit at least.
she had just finished aiding the creature when she heard luca's voice not too far away. she turned her head towards the sound, glancing to him and then the other he was talking to, expecting to see a stranger or visitor. but, to her pleasant surprise, it was a woman she recognized quite easily. the injured girl quickly stumbled towards the two, a bright smile forming on her scratched and burned features. "vanessa!" she called in delight.
goldie nearly tripped on the way there, but managed to catch herself. she wobbled over near luca, her legs shaking weakly as she sat down. she coughed a couple times before saying anything else. "are you alright? where have you been? are you coming back?" she asked the questions quickly, her tail waving back and forth in a happy manner.

NOTHING'S EVER LOST FOREVER, IT'S JUST HIDING IN THE RECESS OF YOUR MIND AND WHEN YOU NEED IT, IT WILL COME TO YOU AT NIGHT. I MISS THE YELLOW. I MISS THE YELLING AND THE SHAKEDOWN. I'M NOT COMPLAINING, NO, I GOT A BETTER SET OF KNIVES NOW. I MISS MY DRUMMER, MY DEAD STEPBROTHER, AND THE PIT CROWD. AND CHUCK AND MATTY - IF THEY COULD SEE ME THEY'D BE SO PROUD.
