burning bridges / o, return - Character Graveyard. - 07-17-2018

She had disappeared off the face of the earth, right after Wade had stopped showing his face around The Typhoon. She was very bitter about that to be honest. They had started dating and he left not too long after. The black she-wolf had wandered up to the border, holding her head up high. Damn, she missed this place.

A grin on her maw, Nessa would sit by and wait for someone to arrive.

Re: burning bridges / o, return - Luca - 07-17-2018

Luca had taken to patrolling the territory lately, as he often did after joining a clan. It made it easier for him to get used to the territory, and if he was lucky he'd find a cool secluded place to sulk away from the public eye. He doubted he'd find any such places near the border, but he always checked there first in case there was a joiner or visitor waiting. Lucky, because for once he seemed to arrive right on time. "Hey," the hellhound called out as he approached her, unaware that she was returning. He was too new to pick up on stuff like that. "Watcha' want with the Typhoon?" It was a bit direct, but subtlety was never Luca's strong suit. He took a second to scan her head to toe, perhaps lingering just a tad too long. She didn't smell like any of the other groups, so he assumed she was just the average joiner, although it was never a bad idea to make sure.

both wade and vanessa's disappearance had certainly worried the young girl. she tries to keep on top of her crewmates presence and whenever one disappears without warning, she couldn't help but feel worried. especially with the tsunami, she wondered if it had taken a crewmate or two without them knowing. that would surely be awful. it didn't feel good not knowing.

the injured girl had been struggling about the territory, trying to help clean it up after their return. the beaches were still littered with the remains of the waters, though they were certainly better than when they first came back. she was currently messing with a little sea turtle, trying to help it to the shores. she quite liked the island and the ocean's creatures - even that barracuda that'd attacked her. she had managed to train a whale shark, and crab so far. they were all still free to travel where they wanted, but they always came to visit at least.

she had just finished aiding the creature when she heard luca's voice not too far away. she turned her head towards the sound, glancing to him and then the other he was talking to, expecting to see a stranger or visitor. but, to her pleasant surprise, it was a woman she recognized quite easily. the injured girl quickly stumbled towards the two, a bright smile forming on her scratched and burned features. "vanessa!" she called in delight.

goldie nearly tripped on the way there, but managed to catch herself. she wobbled over near luca, her legs shaking weakly as she sat down. she coughed a couple times before saying anything else. "are you alright? where have you been? are you coming back?" she asked the questions quickly, her tail waving back and forth in a happy manner.

A new face- it seemed. She would offer a somewhat coy smile to the hellhound before responding to his question. "My name is Vanessa, I'm a returning member of The Typhoon." She would step over the border, through the gates before asking. "What's your name?"

Then she would turn her icy-blue gaze to the jungle beyond, frowning. She hoped Wade wasn't around right now, she had grown used to not seeing his face and not hearing his voice.

Though, the frown had disappeared and was replaced by a smile when Goldie approached. It was nice to see a familiar face around and the she-wolf was happy to see her. "Hi Goldie. I'm doing good and yes, I'm here to rejoin The Typhoon."

Re: burning bridges / o, return - VANDAL R. - 07-17-2018

Vandal is still getting used to the territory. Between learning how to use her wings again and getting back into the routine ebb and flow of hunting, she hasn't spent much time interacting with everyone else - so much so that she doesn't know who two of the three creatures on the Typhoon border are. Once smells distinctly of the camp, so she assumes that one is a clanmate she has yet to meet, but the other has a very watered-down smell that she can't quite tell much about where she came from. The way they interact, however, convinces her that there's nothing particularly violent about the meet-up.

When the mutated maned wolf approaches, it's through the skies. Her flight pattern, though, is choppy and still somewhat unstable, struggling with four feathered appendages trying to find their rhythm. The lower altitude she goes, the harder it is for her to keep her balance, until she's completely keening over to one side and plummeting with a sharp yelp. She lands on her side after the three-foot drop just behind Goldie but immediately jumps back to her paws to give her black pelt a furious shake.

She doesn't seem to be embarrassed by her little show, though. Goldie seems to know the stranger - Vanessa? Pretty name for a pretty face - and Vandal decides that there isn't really anything out of the ordinary, anything that might warrant her suspicion. The mutated wolf folds her massive wings to her side and flashes Vanessa a wide smile, neon-green tongue just barely poking out from between rows of white teeth. "Well then, if my niece knows you, I guess you're good to come back, yeah? Vandal Roux, at your service."

Re: burning bridges / o, return - Luca - 07-17-2018

Oh, a returning member. Luca nodded slightly in understanding, watching as she completed the journey over the border. He didn't move, but his eyes followed her, a soft smile on his lips. "Luca," he responded simply when asked for his name, his lashes falling heavy over rose eyes. "Pleasure to meet you. I look forward to seeing you around." There was a hint of something suggestive in his voice, as per usual, but he dropped that when he remembered that Goldenluxury was sitting right near him. He always felt a little awkward hoeing around in front of children. At least Goldie's reaction to the wolf confirmed that she was in fact an old member. Luca rustled his feathers, turning to glance at Vandal as she landed. That was one hell of a relatable crash, and the hellhound allowed a soft huff of amusement to leave his lips, a small plume of smoke curling from his tongue.

Another new-face and a member of the Roux family. If Vanessa memory was correct, she recalled Pincher allowing her to become a adopted member of the Roux family. "It's nice to see other Roux family members around, you see, I happen to be a adopted member of the Roux's." Nessa explained to Vandal before she turned back to Luca.

She would stare back at him, a brow raised as she noticed his lashes falling over his rose-colored eyes. He was more feminine then masculine, but she liked that. A smirk replaced the friendly-smile on her mouth and let out a noise, similar to a purr. "The same to you." Then she would get up and start heading towards the location where her old house was- hoping she'd see it, which was unlikely due to the recent tsunami.
