♡ Maybe it was kind of ironic that Michael was on Red Team. .. Okay, in context it was very, very ironic. But that context didn't really exist here, so it really wasn't. As it was, the kid was just disappointed that he wasn't on the same team as Leonard. As in, staring blankly at his bandanna in disappointment. Absolutely crushed. Heartbroken. Wasn't on the same team as his bestest friend. (read: the kid he just wouldn't leave alone) .. The only reason the curly-haired child was remotely okay with this was 'cause Shay was leading the team. He liked Shay. She was really really nice. Still, Michael was still pretty upset. Pouting.
Despite this, though, he doesn't protest. Not verbally at least. I mean, he was pretty obvious about it in general. He was even .. trying .. to get ready on his own. It wasn't going great. He missed his sisters. They would've helped him. So, yeah, it takes a little while. It tries to tie the bandanna around his neck but that doesn't work, and then he realizes he doesn't know how to tie it at all. Which is kind of to be expected. Michael didn't even know how to tie his own shoes. So in the end he kind of just .. haphazardly shoves it into his shirt collar. It works, at least. And so, Michael begins basically waddling over to the boats, and only remembers the Life Jacket partway through. .. He shrugs it on, but he certainly doesn't put it on right. He doesn't seem to notice, though, more content to plop into the boat with Shay 'till it starts. Even if he's still sulky about the whole thing.
