Alex winced ever so slightly as the long boat he was in rocked slightly, sitting quietly and watching the other kids and the camp counselors playfully bicker with each other about winning. He tapped his knees, more or less a nervous tick. He wasn't what one would call social, he was more an antisocial kind of child. Too quiet and nervous to make friends, and the yelling that naturally came with people having fun put him off and unnerved him too much to allow him to integrate. No one had seemed to have a problem with it, it wasn't as if what he didn't say really affected anyone.
He fiddled with his bandanna for a minute, mimicking Shay and tying it around his head as a headband, convinced if he had kept it on his arm like he'd originally planned, it would fall off. Color green, Green Team.
