As Pincher started the lesson, the ocelot frowned to herself as she glanced around the area once more for sanity's sake - it seemed odd that only she and Goldie appeared for the lesson. Now, she felt a bit honored that four people attended her herbal tea lesson; it seemed the pirates held even less interest in medicine than she anticipated. After all, in this insane world, getting caught with a serious wound without a medic around happened all too commonly. She thought others might find themselves more interested in learning basic first aid.
But, no matter. Her right ear flicked as her attention squared on the doberman again. If she was the only one here with serious knowledge, then that just added pressure to keep her skills sharp. "With a cut, you'd first want to clean it of any dirt or other particles. If it's bleeding excessively, perhaps because of a nick on a big vein, it's more important to stop the bleeding as soon as possible, though," she answered, trying to keep her rambling to a minimum. It was easier with her tea lesson; then, with needing to wait two minutes before each tea brewed, she had all the time in the world to ramble about minute details. Now, she felt as though some invisible timer ticked over her head. "Once the wound is clean and bloodflow isn't an issue, you'd probably want to apply a herb to prevent infection. Marigold and goldenrod - they're almost the same thing, really, closely related - are both common plants that would be good for it, though there are others," she stated, cutting herself off there. Lots of plants qualified as good for preventing infection, though she supposed Pincher wanted the best one for the job rather than a laundry list of them.

I FEEL SO HUNGRY —
— Dear diary, I don't know what's going on, but something's up / The dog won't stop barking, and I think my TV is bust / Every channel is the same, it's sending me insane / And earlier somebody bit me, what a fucking day / The sky is falling / It's fucking boring / I'm going braindead, isolated / God is a shithead / And we're his rejects / Traumatized for breakfast / I can't stomach any more survival horror / Dear diary, I feel itchy like there's bugs under my skin / The dog's gone rabid (shut the fuck up) / Doing my head in —— WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING?
