It's on this day that Izuku, of course, finds himself out of camp again. He shouldn't be -- really, really shouldn't. He should be studying more and he should be preparing himself to take Jacob's place. But he couldn't. Everything hurt and focusing was impossible. It took a little convincing to get him to let go of that pressing, overwhelming guilt about it. Seriously, it's not like anybody was going to get hurt for a while. Or. They might. And if they did Izuku swore to god he was going to ruin somebody. He couldn't deal with this right now.
Still, coming upon .. this, comes as kind of a shocker. The Tenderfoot draws to a halt, blinking at the familiar appearance of the feline his clanmates were greeting. Amphibian hybrid, tongue. She gave off a .. very Tsuyu-like vibe. It took a few moments to sink in, and Izuku feels ... several emotions at once. He resists the urge to groan as he wanders over. Not another one. There's a tired, guilty look resting on the injured feline's face as he seats himself next to Atbash. Tsuyu Asui. That was her alright. He swallows hard, ears pressing back slightly. So. She was dead too, huh. The first few times he'd re-met people he knew, he'd cried. But now Izuku just .. he's tired. They're all dead and Izuku started it and he never saw any of them anyways. What was the point. They'd all disappear soon enough and he'd be alone again or something.
".. Tsuyu," Izuku greets, tired and sleep deprived and not emotionally ready for much of anything. But despite this, he's warm, relived that she was here, at least. A better place to keep an eye on her, to fret over her just like he does everybody else. Good god everything was a mess. "I, um -- welcome to Snowbound! It's -- It's me. Um. Izuku. Midoriya." Izuku's gaze falls to his paws. Does she remember anything? Izuku can't be sure -- everyone's memories were different. Some, like Izuku, remembered everything. Others, like Uraraka, didn't. Well, Izuku supposes this is gonna be a ... pretty weird reunion or whatever. His clanmates were probably getting sick of this, wow. But at least he's not making a scene this time. Unless Tsuyu was gonna, but she was calm enough Izuku didn't think she was gonna. Unless it was about Izuku's horrible appearance, all ruffled fur and scars and the fact the bandage over his entire right leg couldn't cover all of the spots that he'd nearly burned off around his shoulder. This is ... largely besides the point, though. Oops.
