Tsuyu had no idea how she got here, in reality's aspect. She wasn't usually.. Used to areas like this. Anything related to snow wasn't her favorite, but she had heard from others that this was the best place for someone like herself to go. She wasn't completely amphibian, after all. The manx hybrid slowly hopped over to what seemed to be a.. Border? A long tongue hung from her maw, and she lifted her paw up to gently tap her chin as if in thought. Should she pass over? She never figured out how to do any of these things, such as joining these weird groups or something. She'd think things over, eventually. She just had to find someone who lived here.

"Hello? Is anyone there?" Asked the hybrid, a soft ribbit escaping her lips after her sentence. It was her own habit she had, to take on her frog traits suddenly while she was speaking. It's not like she could get rid of those traits though, she was born like this.

Well this was an interesting sight. Cry chuckled to herself as she circled high above the manx. That kid had one hell of a tongue. Not the strangest trait she's seen in this world, but definitely up there. Cry closed her wings, swooping down to land beside the cat. She landed with a quiet thump on the ground and went to gently lean on the young cat. She was significantly smaller, so it wouldn't do much, anyways.

The bird opened a wing, raising a brow at the cat. Whatcha doing out here, kid? She hummed, her face devout of any emotion. She slumped away, taking a few steps forward. Her wings folded against the sides of her body, her crest fluffing up. We don't get visitors too often. Lies, but she did want to give the kid a little spook. Cry was only testing her courage. Poke the bear and all that. Blah blah...

ATBASH CIPHER
i should've said what i hear
i should have let myself fear
Hearing a voice as she started off on her daily trips around the borders, Atbash quickened her pace to come up to the hybrid that stood at their border, though it seemed that Cry had beaten her to the punch. Which was no big deal! She was actually glad to see the raven around again. "Heya." Atbash greeted as she sat down, her short tail flicking a bit as she waited for Tsuyu to answer Cry's question.

"I'm here to join this group.. If this is a group, ribbit." She croaked out, charcoal eyes glancing over the bird for a moment as if considering how a bird could talk. Was it really that weird? After all, she could talk too. Maybe animals in this world could talk and it was perfectly normal.

"My name.. Tsuyu Asui, but call me Tsuyu." The frog-feline croaked again, her voice a bit broken despite the feminine ring it had to it. She was a strange creature, indeed. Her tongue withdrew back into her maw, only the tip sticking out as she tilted her head at the second creature to arrive in front of her.

"Who are you two?" She asked, her voice soft despite the fact that she was actually quite annoyed by the attempts to scare her. It would take a lot more to scare the child. Especially since she was so calm, she tended to think things through before assuming things.

It's on this day that Izuku, of course, finds himself out of camp again. He shouldn't be -- really, really shouldn't. He should be studying more and he should be preparing himself to take Jacob's place. But he couldn't. Everything hurt and focusing was impossible. It took a little convincing to get him to let go of that pressing, overwhelming guilt about it. Seriously, it's not like anybody was going to get hurt for a while. Or. They might. And if they did Izuku swore to god he was going to ruin somebody. He couldn't deal with this right now.
Still, coming upon .. this, comes as kind of a shocker. The Tenderfoot draws to a halt, blinking at the familiar appearance of the feline his clanmates were greeting. Amphibian hybrid, tongue. She gave off a .. very Tsuyu-like vibe. It took a few moments to sink in, and Izuku feels ... several emotions at once. He resists the urge to groan as he wanders over. Not another one. There's a tired, guilty look resting on the injured feline's face as he seats himself next to Atbash. Tsuyu Asui. That was her alright. He swallows hard, ears pressing back slightly. So. She was dead too, huh. The first few times he'd re-met people he knew, he'd cried. But now Izuku just .. he's tired. They're all dead and Izuku started it and he never saw any of them anyways. What was the point. They'd all disappear soon enough and he'd be alone again or something.
".. Tsuyu," Izuku greets, tired and sleep deprived and not emotionally ready for much of anything. But despite this, he's warm, relived that she was here, at least. A better place to keep an eye on her, to fret over her just like he does everybody else. Good god everything was a mess. "I, um -- welcome to Snowbound! It's -- It's me. Um. Izuku. Midoriya." Izuku's gaze falls to his paws. Does she remember anything? Izuku can't be sure -- everyone's memories were different. Some, like Izuku, remembered everything. Others, like Uraraka, didn't. Well, Izuku supposes this is gonna be a ... pretty weird reunion or whatever. His clanmates were probably getting sick of this, wow. But at least he's not making a scene this time. Unless Tsuyu was gonna, but she was calm enough Izuku didn't think she was gonna. Unless it was about Izuku's horrible appearance, all ruffled fur and scars and the fact the bandage over his entire right leg couldn't cover all of the spots that he'd nearly burned off around his shoulder. This is ... largely besides the point, though. Oops.

The thing about Midoriya was that he constantly had scars in the human world, in their world. It wasn't unfamiliar for the boy to take scars from his Quirk, the quirk which had been given to him by All Might, it seemed. She had deduced that from many fights, watched Midoriya's many fights herself.

So when she saw the green feline walk over, exhausted and worn out, the frog-feline's eyes lit up just enough to show she was happy to see the boy. She didn't need his name, she knew it was him. Maybe it was her own Quirk- were Quirks even a thing in this world?

"Midoriya, what happened? Why am I like this, ribbit?" Croaked the hermaphrodite, tilting her head once more before slowly padding over to Izuku's sullen form. She could just see how exhausted he was, something must have happened. Was life really that hard for such a normally cheerful boy? The Midoriya that Tsuyu knew was almost always cheerful, always smiling. Even during hard times, he was smiling. Just like All Might did.

"I'm not sure how I got here, ribbit."

ATBASH CIPHER
i should've said what i hear
i should have let myself fear
Atbash was about to respond to Tsuyu's questions about Snowbound being a group and for her name, when Izuku came over, apparently knowing this strange hybrid. He knows everybody. The Chief mused to herself, listening to their conversation to find a chance to pop in. "This is a group. We're called Snowbound, like Izuku said." Atbash finally replied with a smile. "My name's Atbash Cipher." She went quiet after that, however, not able to answer Tsuyu's questions. The feline looked over at Izuku, curious to know the reason herself. It seemed like many of his friends ended up the same way, so maybe he knew something.

Under normal circumstances, Izuku can deal with stress well. Practically thrived under it. But Izuku wasn't really .. meant, for all of this. Seriously, he wasn't meant to be a medic, what the actual fuck was he thinking when he allowed himself to sign up to be Tenderfoot. And now Jacob was gone and Izuku didn't know shit. And if he got one thing wrong, he would, in fact, have let somebody die right at his paws. Which was why he'd stayed up in excruciating pain for a few nights in a row, studying despite the fact that his eyes were still, in fact, injured, and focusing hurt his head so much and his paw kept crackling and it hurt and it was all piling up absolutely horribly. He'd be okay .. soon. If he ever managed to sleep and stop being absolutely terrified, he means. .. Normal by Izuku's standards, he means. 'Cause god knows Izuku had changed pretty drastically in those months he'd spent on his own.
"That's. Uh. Complicated," Izuku grins sheepishly. He's tired, but slowly perking up. He gets kind of sleepy when he's alone and can't concentrate and everything moves like jelly, but spending time with people helped. Anyways. What the hell, out himself in front of his clanmates, why doesn't he. They'll probably be a little shocked that bitty green Izuku was a former human, or maybe they won't. Izuku hasn't really payed attention to how transparent he is about it, considering that this just happens sometimes, apparently, and he really didn't need to worry about if they'd believe him. Hell, yeah, with the simple curiosity Atbash was giving him, she probably had suspicions, yeah. So. Maybe Izuku was a little concerned with talking about it, but he trusted them. Even if Cry might judge him or something, whatever. "Long story short? We died, or at least everyone so far has. It could've been the result of a quirk, but I'm not sure how any quirk could affect so many people over a span of time that long, with the timeline being so skewed here," Izuku is practically bubbling with the urge to ramble about this. He likes ranting, likes going in depth on his thought process but like ... literally nobody wanted to hear it. Literally nobody. Which was kind of upsetting, but Izuku, by this point in time, had suppressed the urge to enough to just sort of .. not. Even if he sulked about it later. And then ranted about it in one of his journals instead. Not as satisfying but good enough.

A soft croaking sound left the frog-minx hybrid, and she nodded along to the twos explaination to everything happening and what the Hell this world was. Snowbound was the name of this group, and Izuku was in it. He smelled weird, too. The hybrid tilted her head upwards again, tongue drooping out of her mouth a bit more as the webbed-paw feline reached her paw out to attempt to gently pat Midoriya on the head. She had always been rumored to be the best type of emotional support in battle, being able to stay calm even during rough moments. She was a calming presence, in her opinion.

"We've all suffered terrible fates, haven't we?" Came the soft, but scratchy voice of Tsuyu as she finally spoke up, charcoal eyes surveying the area with a newfound perspective. If this was her new home, if all of her class mates had died and were brought back here, she could tolerate that. She could understand that reincarnation seemed to happen when a human died, but this was mildly still weird for her. "I still seem to have my quirk, since it is actually.. Physically apart of me, as always, ribbit." She mewed, dark green pelt seeming to stand out in the snow.
