♡ Caboose doesn't think he's been to a party before. He could be wrong -- was probably wrong. If Caboose bothered to dig in deep, which he did not, he'd find faint impressions of music and many people and at least one of his sisters pulling him along. In other words, no, Caboose had not been to a party himself before, just casual ones his sisters insisted on bringing him to sometimes. But even so, this particular event is like something fresh, as many are. Just 'cause Caboose doesn't bother relating stuff to things that've happened before. He does that with very, very strange things instead.
Anyways -- does Caboose know about America? Not very well. He doesn't know why this party is being hosted, and nor does he care, because there's so many people and things and it's really really cool!!
... Which is, of course, how Caboose finds himself approaching Church instead of doing anything else. The canine should probably try and interact with other people besides the Collie, but Church was Caboose's best friend!! Everyone should probably count themselves lucky, anyways. Caboose and sparklers would probably be a ... dangerous combination. God knows how he'd end up making some harmless things dangerous but he somehow would. Or he wouldn't even figure out how to light the spaklers and he'd just find somebody else to chatter to. Which probably would've been a good way of making more friends, but Caboose probably considered everyone here, or at least every member of the Ascendants here, a friend already. Even if they barely knew him. Or he barely knew them.
"Church!!" Caboose yips, tail wagging as he flops to the ground next to the Collie, tail wagging. He doesn't know what Church is doing by himself over here, but any concerns he has about it is gone in .. less than a moment, honestly. He wouldn't just let Church sulk over here alone, after all!! Though he most definitely would've yelled at the other if he were talking to somebody else anyways so maybe it's for the better.
Whether or not Church really acknowledges Caboose, however, the Retriever rolls back over and back onto his paws in another moment, tail still wagging fast enough it could probably kill a man and impatiently bouncing on his paws. "There's a lot of people here! Isn't it cool?" Caboose chatters, and he glances vaguely in the direction of the tables. It's just food, which Caboose isn't terribly interested in, and there's some weird sticky-thingys. He distantly wonders what they are but, honestly, Caboose doesn't care. ".. But what're fire..works?" Those don't sound like words that should go together. They sound kind of familiar, though -- like Caboose should know what they are but has definitely forgotten. He doesn't linger on it for long, though, and maybe not even at all. Just long enough to ask, honestly.
