Dimitri was still cleaning when they arrived. He was thankful they knocked though, as his eyes casted to the journal lying open on the floor. "J- Just a second!" A whine escaped his lips and he jumped down from cleaning, picking up the sacred object and tossing it into his bag. He closed it quickly. He looked around the still dusty room with a sigh, imagining how he would set it up to accommodate for everyone. Especially Daisy. All they had for toys right now for her was the little bear. Daisy needed to be entertained and she wouldn't be able to control herself like the others.
He trodded to the door, jumping up to pull down on the handle, but only letting it open enough to reveal a white leg and a green, insecure eye. Atbash had been the first one he met, so Dimitri was naturally inclined to trust her, but he couldn't be too careful.
Don't trust anyone here. They might laugh at you. Sell us out. Don't let your guard down yet. He trusted his personas, but... can't they start settling in?
Dimitri's gaze was defensive and inspecting. Observing for possible dangers and keeping himself closed off. His gaze went to the basket and visibly widened- TOYS! He shut the door, shaking himself then reopening it. "S- Sorry for slamming that on ya..." He stepped aside to let them in, gaze locking on Jacob for a second and almost asking the same visible question.
How are you going to hurt me?
His gaze then watched Mel walking away, and Dimitri was already hesitating to shut the door again. "Come- come on in. It's still messy but I'll find a way to get the cobwebs later." His gaze redirected on the basket and glanced at the backpack for a second. One problem solved, but Daisy would need more than stuffies. "Is that for me?"
"speech"
