Were Coldblue aware of Rosemary's part in Caesar's rather disgusting display of dietary preference, he might have pissed himself laughing. Honestly, there is nothing better than petty revenge. Imagine the possibilities! Implanting a suggestion within the subconscious to wet the bed every night. Or maybe to take a nap on top of an ant's nest (a variation that is not too dangerous, of course). To compel another to experience many inconveniences, seemingly of their own accord, is arguably the greatest power imaginable. One might argue that the world is lucky that Blue is neither aware nor in possession of such an ability, for he most certainly would use it for his own benefit. Coldblue is not a bad kid, but he most certainly behaves in accordance to his whims. And that means a mixture of good, evil, and selfish. So instead of gleefully gushing over the brilliance of his (rather strange) aunt's abilities, the child entertains himself by making a jab at Caesar. "I wonder if that is the reason why he's such a slimy bastard," muses the youth with a haughty smirk. Even though Blue looks right at the male in question, he only addresses the others; a subtle display of arrogance and social class. He is, albeit non-verbally, insinuating that Caesar is so low compared to the rest of the crew that he does not even possess the honor of speaking for himself. Is it rude? Yes, of course. However, Coldblue never claimed to be nice, especially to people outside his family. And in his humble opinion, Caesar does not deserve to be treated kindly after his misguided push for leadership during the brief period in which Pincher was dead. Blue stood proudly among the Caesar-haters, as Rosemary calls them.

Satisfied with his heckling, Coldblue turns his attention to his relatives. The seal lynx youth moves to stand beside his sister, tapping her lightly with the end of his tail and offers both females a charming half-smile. "That sounds fun," he says in response to Rosemary's suggestion to make a present for Pincher or something. "Mind if I join you?" The boy is not that motivated to make anything for his father given Blue's low-opinion of him, but he likes spending time with Goldie. The motivation is a little genuine and a little selfish. Genuine in his love for Goldie. And selfish in that he is subconsciously attempting to dispel the guilt he feels for isolating himself from her for so long. Emotions are so complex.
