Oh man, when was the last time Pierce had been late to a meeting? He'd missed one since he joined this place, but never had he walked in while the leader was halfway through with no idea what was going on. That's what he got for staying up all night, he supposed, wandering the territory in order to avoid the stale, awkward air that remained in his, Riddler, and Clementine's home. He'd expected everything to be better when they got back, but he figured it'd take a while for things to go back to normal. They would, eventually, wouldn't they? They had to; he didn't think he'd be able to take this much longer. For now, he just brushed it off as them having to settle down in their new home, something everything was going to have to be working on, anyway. Trying to tune into what Jake had to say, Pierce took a seat at the edge of the crowd, just in time to hear that all but a few high positions demoted. It wasn't unwarranted, that was for sure, but it still stung to think of. He couldn't imagine what he'd have done if he'd lost his previous position in his old clan; it'd been one of the only things that'd kept him going. Maybe none of those high positions would really mind, though, since they were hardly around, anyway. That thought made him feel a little bit better for them. Nodding somewhat absent-mindedly and mostly to himself, the serval called once Jacob was finished speaking, "Noted, Jacob! My condolences to everyone demoted." That really did suck.
