Needless to say, Sakaris was pretty bummed that her father didn't spend much time with her anymore. They used to be close, and now it felt like they might be drifting apart..but it was okay! She understood that he was busy, so she couldn't hold it against him. She was just proud of what he was doing for their little rag-tag group. He was a leader, and in the child's mind, that was pretty freaking cool.
She lit up when she saw him, happy that he wanted to join in. She nodded her head quickly at his question and then continued to draw her own picture as he started his own. After a few moments of silence and the sound of crayons on paper, she grinned, holding up her piece of paper for the larger serval to see. Of course, it wasn't the best, but it was eligible at least. It was of them against a blue sky, the sun peeking out from one of the corners, the two of them standing in what looked to be a plain of grass. "Do you like it, daddy?"
