VALEMON
male — 9 months — snowbound — member — tags — rped by Autumnleaf
That night, Valemon had the best dream since arriving in Snowbound. He was in a field of flowers, stretching farther than he could see in every direction. All of his family were there, including Anakin, Luke, Padme, and Sekai. In his dream, he realized that his sister seemed different somehow... happier. Along with her, they ran among the flowers, which were unlike any Val had ever seen before. Upon being touched, some of their color came off onto the individual, almost as if they were covered in paint. He felt as if they’d been there for hours, just talking and playing, but the sun never once moved in the sky. It was warm, the birds were chirping...
Then, the cub stirred, having felt some sort of presence behind him. Had Sekai come to sleep with him? But, as he slowly shifted, still blinking sleep from his eyes, he turned to see no one there.
So it seemed he’d left his dreamscape for nothing, then. Val failed to notice the cups had moved - he could barely even recall the last time he’d drank from them. He loved the hot cocoa that was plentiful around here, but of course it was bound to make his stomach upset. He always tried to remind himself to eat something one of his clanmates had caught, instead, remembering what his father had said about that. A growing lion needed plenty of meat and minimal sweets. It was sometimes too good to resist, however.
Val was just about to try and get comfortable once more when he spotted something on the table. Something that wasn’t there before... something familiar.
Hopping down from his bed, he approached the table and the object upon it. “Silly bird!” he exclaimed, careful to keep his voice low due to others being asleep around him. How on earth had that gotten here? He’d lost it long before he’d left RiverClan. He lifted the stuffed animal and upon closer inspection realized it wasn’t exactly his old plush. This one wasn’t tattered but brand new. And, there was something on it... a little blue triangle. Looking up thoughtfuly, Valemon finally noticed the note. He’d have to ask Sekai what it said... but at the very least he recognized the letter ‘A’ that had been signed.
Although he had several questions, a yawn interrupted his thoughts and reminded him he was still tired. Gingerly snatching up the stuffed bird, he carried it back to his bed, where he set it next to another plush: the lion Sekai had gifted him, dubbed ‘Coco’. At this point, he was on his way to a collection.
