FATED, FAITHFUL, FATAL...
How long had it been since he had been drunk? Gods, it felt like forever since the warm dizziness clawed at his body. First his widow had found him in the next life, then he had been able to actually enjoy alcohol without the immediate taste of pure fire causing him to spit it back out for fear of combustion. It was still unfortunate what had happened to him, but his wounds were very little when he considered what he was gifted; a second chance with Jelloshots, his wife who he had wronged so, so long ago. The Knight Captain had slipped out of the gala, out from underneath the ever-careful eyes of his Praetorian Guard detail yet ensuring the one he had wanted to see him was able to follow behind him. He had hope that maybe, with his old love returning, the mornings wouldn't be as frigid, and the nights would be less long.
