how much trouble could one apprentice get himself in to? well, it turned out far more than whitedove had expected. word spread fast when there were so many cats next to each other to spread it, and before long he was striding over on long legs, a look of concern on his features, whiskers raised. he had abandoned his duty midway, promising to be back soon, and he could only hope that it wasn't a false promise as he neared. "antpaw," his voice was relieved once he saw the apprentice, and he quickened his pace, trotting over and pausing just short of cindershout, giving the tom his space to help. "are you alright? I heard what happened," his words were filled with genuine concern as he looked the smaller feline over.
