he headed to the closest body of water and waded into the cooling waters. letting his pet soak a moment before moving to the shallows. there he began prancing. splashing and tossing his head a bit. he let out a hardy laugh as he dropped into the shallows and rolled on his back.

it felt good.

ic text: the child had been walking by herself as she heard a splashing noise. looking up she saw agrimony, playing in the waters like he was her age. a small laugh came from the female and she trodded over to him, tail flicking eagerly behind. if he saw her she'd give him a smile and wave before dipping her paws into the water too, then flicked them at him to send water droplets everywhere.

ic text: she wasn't expecting an onslaught of water as he shook his mane, sending more drops her way, and was left with her maw parted in shock, water dripping down her face. "how dare you! now my pelt's all wet!" she exclaimed in mock horror, then bounded after him into the shallow end. she didn't mind water, never had, and had never really played in it either. but this was fun. she took a mental note to play in water puddles more often, especially during the summer.

BRUTEI TSUNE

The demonic oriental chuckled to themself as they approached the water. Their mother belly had shrunked slightly as the children became older and were able to eat more solid food, but still, some of Brutei's belly sagged. Long ears flicked as they watched Agrimony and Skádi play, and their tail waved in the air. "Are you two having fun?" they called out, stepping into the water.

"lots! you should join us!" she responded happily, bounding over to brutei and attempting to clumsily launch herself at them, trying to wrap her paws around the older animal's neck in a wet fluffy hug. if successful they'd both end up in the water, if not she'd still be laughing.

his voice was playful and then he looked up in time to see another join them. indeed. the heat makes for a perfect time in the water. he mused as he watched his little companion return to who he assumed was their mother. if looks served. he relaxed in the water to see if the little one would succeed in their pounce.
