Here it was. His final capture, at least for now. The Palm Glades had been his last destination on his little trek around for test subjects to give his poisons to, and he was honestly pretty pleased with the results. Not only had he managed to test on three different larger animals, he had also managed to get three different captures that would be useful for the Coalition. Mostly for his own experimental purposes, but he wasn't exactly about to stop anyone else from doing what they wanted with the poor, unfortunate souls. They were prisoners, after all. In this particular case, the dire wolf was a little disappointed that he hadn't managed to nab someone as impressive as Vayne, or Kainan. After all, they had been a leader and a leader's daughter. Still, this particular victim was a member of the Palm Glades, and he was fairly sure that would be good enough for most of his fellow wanderers. He didn't know the full story, but from what he had gathered through osmosis, the Glades had betrayed the Coalition a while ago, and was a large part of why they had fallen so hard, so fast. Needless to say, that had bred quite a bit of hatred for them within the Coalition.
This was why Arvid was unsurprised by the interested and heated glares thrown in the direction of his capture as he moved through camp. He carried Ambrose much like he had Vayne, the fox dangling down from his jaws as he headed towards the forbidden caverns. Unlike with Kainan and Vayne, he didn't have much of a reason to stop in camp beforehand, figuring that he'd just toss Ambrose into a cell without much fuss. However, that plan was interrupted when he was just about to leave camp, and the vulpine began to writhe and shift a bit in his jaws. Ah, well, he supposed that meant the poison had worn off, didn't it? With a displeased huff, the dire wolf dropped Ambrose roughly on the ground, moving to place a large black paw on her to try and keep her pinned. He grumbled at her, his ears flattened, "God, couldn't you have just stayed out until we got to the cell? Being a pain isn't going to get you anywhere." It really wasn't, considering where she was. Unless Ambrose was secretly a master escape artist, making it out of the Coalition's camp without issue would be quite the neat trick.
