wren ellefsen
Tiny paws slowly crept along with the early morning fog that hung around the forest around the territory, cautiously making their way out with what seemed to be an attempt to be quiet with such careful steps ending up being much louder than if they had simply walked around the suspended bridge without the extra effort tacked on. It’s not like it took terribly long to get to the towering greenhouse that housed all sorts of treasures for such a small creature. Large, blue eyes stared into the warm room while her body linked in carefully past the door before a small giggle escape her maw at her little adventure to the greenhouse without her mother close by.
At the same time though, the small direwolf trembled ever so slightly with each step she took to further explore the room and it’s many plants on her own without a clue as to what half of these things were. Wren’s body crept towards a small plants with little red vegetables hanging off of them that almost looked like a pointy witch hat if she tried to look at it upside down. But, it was a small splash coming from the fountain that kept the young pup from biting down onto the unknown food and sent her scrambling behind a group of tomato vines and their trellis. After a moment of silence besides the soft babble of the fountain that had produced the splash, she took a few steps from her hiding spot and back towards the door leading out of the until a sudden noise caused the wolf to whip around to it’s source.
Somehow, despite the cold weather...there was a frog sitting in the warm room and staring up blankly at her. Wren couldn’t move, her tail now tucked in between her legs as panic flooded her senses in that moment. She didn't know what to do or if it was some gross, poisonous frog that wanted to eat her for breakfast this morning and the child didn't want to bother finding out with a single wrong move. Instead, it was the frog that made the next move of hopping happily in her direction much to the little girl’s displeasure. A sharp yelp sounded as she ran around the greenhouse, scared of the frog still hoping after her with no idea of the chaos he was causing so early in the morning.
“MAMAAAAAAAA!”
