Absol had found him a home after his family had died, leaving him on his own. Absol hadn't found a point, yet to introduce himself to everyone around him or really move around. Since he hadn't know anyone upon arrival, he decided it would be best for the time being to not interact with the others.

Absol sat near a tree, ready to lay down and nap or just watch the clouds. He wasn't paying to much attention to anything that was going on around him. He still hadn't made an effort to get to know the others.

Gentle were the steps that followed the small child, legs shaking from lack of rest. Ares had been staying away from others, the scare with Dazir still heavy on her mind, and Pretty-mother becoming more and more.. concerning for the war child. She even stayed away from Salvia and Aurum, instead staying in the library and picking up on reading.

She was walking around when she noticed Absol's scent and followed it until her shaking legs couldn't really carry her. She flopped a few feet from the wolf, exhaustion evident in her eyes as she spoke, "Can I sit with you..? I'm Ares."

Absol looked at the kid. He nodded, but kept his eyes on Ares. He was curiousaboutwhy Ares was alone. "I'm Absol." He said still a bit unsure about the kid. "And why are you out here when you should be resting?" Absol asked.

Absol smiled now that he was talking to anyone. But he still thought that the kid should rest.

So I cut everyone off and isolated myself. I will never be weak.

She moved with silky and shaky paws as she sat next to Absol, a small smile on her face. "That's a nice name." She stifled a yawn and then looked at the wolf in a slight face of confusion. "But I'm not tired? Why rest when I can read and draw and walk?" The lie easily caught as she spoke, but she smiled and adjusted herself. "Why haven't I seen you around the town?"

Absol smiled hearing Ares. "That's because I've stayed away." He said still looking at the kid. He watched the kid before speaking again. "And you look tried. And if you don't rest, you'll pass out. Absol added with a small chuckle. Absol had been sitting, but then laid back down.

[align=center][div style="width: 40%; text-align: justify;"]newkit usually learned the names of people who ventured into camp, so it was strange that he hadn't come across this guy on his camp adventures. maybe he was just really good at avoiding him.. yeah, that was it! wobbling his way over on his three limbs, one bent terribly at the ankle almost as if it were broken, but he felt no pain- simply because there was none, and there was no broken bone. "hey ares, who's your friend?" he asked, eyeing up the stranger and settling in close to ares. he didn't know who this guy was, where he'd come from.. "maybe don't talk to strangers without an adult around next time?" he suggested to her softly, keeping that smile on his face.

"i'm sure ares will be fine for a little while! when did you get to tanglewood?" he addressed the stranger, ears perked and high on his head.

Absol looked at newkit, he was still smiling. "I'm Absol and not too far ago." Absol said still looking at newkit. He now had two kids around him. "And who are you?" He asked a bit curious now. He liked the idea of getting to know everyone around him now, since he had no family left when he came to Tanglewood.

Absol smiled when Aurum came up. He looked at the lion. "It's not that." He said thinking about how hard it was before coming to Tanglewood. Absol still looked at Aurum. "It's before I came here, I had watched my family died from being sick, so I'm just trying to get use to being around so many others again. Absol added sitting up once again. He had felt that if he got too close to someone that he would lose them like he had lost their family. Absol didn't like that idea at or that thought.

"i'm.. newkit." he was obviously too old to still be a kit, but if he was asked, he'd simply ignore the question.. like he'd ignore that TMI about absol losing his family.
