Since Sugarspice had been a member of PalmClan long before the new tradition had been put into place, she had thought she had already explored all of the territory, and already seen everything that could be seen. She couldn't think of a place that she had liked the most out of every other however, so she had opted to walk around the territory once more in thought of this. It took her by surprise, however, when she had found a coconut in the sands of the beach, bordering the grass.

Looking up, she found that there was three palm trees that had grown together, close enough for their trunks to be intertwined and merged together. She knew instantly what she wanted this spot to be, and she knew that it would be her favorite place in the territory. Where they had all thought there were simply the same trees scattered in ther territory, there was one small set unlike the rest, and she didn't know it now but it could be a symbol of PalmClan and their difference from the other groups across the island that they hadn't met yet.

It took her a long time, but eventually the female had created the place to be how she liked it. Using old wood from the boardwalk, she positioned it between the tree branches so that it would act as an overhang for anyone to be underneath the palm trees and not have to worry about coconuts falling on their heads, and she had gathered large stones to be used as a place to set things down on. Later on more could be done to it, but for now that was it, and she was proud.

Making her way back to camp, Suga gathered who she could with a call for those who wanted to see her new favorite place to follow her - and she'd allow kits to come as well so long as caregivers were fine with it due to the number of members going - and she would simply sit down under her new overhang. "It's my favorite because it's such a unique tree place compared to the others, and it made me inspired to make this overhang... and it's a nice spot by the beach." She would begin, smile on her maw. "I hope you all like it too."

Boredom.

Trivial and fleeting the few permittable tasks one besting such minor capabilities may handle, aside cast in favour of more destructive exploits. Yet there was few that entertained such clumsy attempts to engage in play, soothing the tones employed for child they spoke to, all the same flint the vision that skittered away towards task of necessity. All supposed avenues depleted to resting in the cool of the shade had he turned, loose the curl of position, chin pressed into grains between outstretched legs. Certain the ease with which one may learn of his annoyance at the situation he held no way to rectify for tail flicked and twitch, back and forth shifting as he watched others go about their work.

Sudden the rise, head spinning as it left resting place, the call staged in familiar voice drawing attention. Her beckons seemed shared among all, even about her paws frolicking a few other kittens, elder than he and thus unknown for the most part, their presence seemingly welcome. To paws did Foam quickly rise, stumbling forth with clumsy, unsure steps, released a high pitched squeak to garner attention. None refused his approach, almost expected the dismissal for prior issues with his escape attempts, and so among them was he as Sugarspice led them from the shallow valley.

Simple the construction that adorned entwined trunks, many become one simply by matter of proximity, yet even such enough to incite wonder. Bright the glimmer present in eyes that widened with their sweep, from rest breaking away the kitten, clumsy in his haste to supposedly be first. Atop one of the carefully placed stones did he clamber, loud the squeaky call he voiced with a wide grin. Silent did he grow when Sugar spoke, undivided the attention settled upon her, words poorly understood and unlikely retained, her tone and the response of some others enough.

From perch did he slip, barely caught off set balance, much slower his pace as he approached the senior warrior. Against her leg briefly was pressed chilled nose, upon withdraw once more settled on place a smile, lop sided as always, voice quiet and echoing with the joy drawn across gentle features. "Sugar."

LEADER ❝ RHINE ❞ PALMCLAN

It seemed so simple an idea, at least at first glance. After all, why wouldn't one want to set up such a location for everyone to gather at? It might've almost reminded one of a bar, if any with Palmclan were truly aware of such a thing. Either way, Rhine had felt intrigued when he heard Sugarspice's call, an indicator that she was participating in the group's newest tradition. The thought of it alone brought a smile to his face, glad to hear that one of their older members was doing it first. Hopefully that would encourage others to do it as well, especially newcomers. With this in mind, the tom was eager to get to his feet, disposing of the remains of the sparrow he had been eating before he followed along with the small crowd. He could tell that the others who had decided to come were also excited, most of them faces amongst the meetings crowd that he had noticed were intrigued by the idea of the plight. Of course, Foamkit was there as well, which was utterly unsurprising to Rhine. The boy would take any chance to get out of camp, as well as any chance to alleviate his awful boredom.

When they eventually reached the intertwined trees, Rhinestone found his eyes widening, a soft gasp leaving him as he inspected the constructed structure. It was simple, yes, but it was the beginning of something great, and he couldn't help the small grin that he flashed over in Suga's direction. Moving closer, the leader ran one of his paws over the smooth stone, imagining the drinks and food that could be enjoyed there, as well as the other possibilities. What better way to make an impression on allies, than to bring them to your private bar in order to have a drink and talk trade? The thought of it all seemed to make his pale eyes almost glow, turning to Sugar before he purred, "Sugarspice, this place is just incredible... definitely worthy of the plight. It'll be good for so much, not to mention the coconuts are perfect for drinks... although I'm guessing you knew that already." He chuckled a little, pausing as he saw Foamkit move forward to press his nose gently against Suga's leg. Rhine couldn't help but smile, saying in an amused tone, "It seems as though Foamkit approves of the place as well." That didn't surprise Rhine either, though. This was also a perfect place for Foam's caretaker to bring him when they wanted him to be out and about while they could sit and watch him from afar.

Oh fuck, he still had to do this, didn't he? Ah oh well, Hauntingdreams knew he had plenty of time to prepare for his own plight - at least Rhinestone seemed to be understanding in that sort of way. But he did want to get an idea of what the hell he was supposed to do, considering he kind of-maybe-probably dozed out during the meeting that Rhinestonestar had announced the new tradition. "Huh." The warrior hummed, a little bit surprised that he was finding himself rather impressed with this. "Looks pretty damn nice, yeah. Do you get a lot of peace and quiet here?" Probably not, considering it was by the beach but hey - didn't hurt to ask.[glow=COLOR,1,400] ━ ✧*:･ﾟ[/glow]

"I'm glad you like it Foamkit," She would speak in turn to the child, "There's some small coconuts that fell on the ground if you wanna play with them or take one back to camp when we go back." She would lean down when she said this, softly speaking only to the boy as she did so. They had fallen at a time where they were not yet fully grown, and were the perfect size for the boy to roll them around without getting hurt.

Gaze would lift and she would look to the two older males now, nodding her head in response to the remarks and question. "I was thinking adults who didn't like to swim could stay in the shade and watch the younger members of the group, and we could have drinks that aren't salty from the water nearby for when we get thirsty from swimming." The place where they got their fresh water was quite a bit away from the beach they swam at, and it was pointless walking there if they were just going to come back and swim. "It's not the most quiet place, but since it's a little bit away from the beach where we swim, it's still a quieter place on the beach with shade." She would respond to Hauntingdreams. It'd be a nice place to read, too, if they got things to keep the sand out of whatever someone wanted to read.

LEADER ❝ RHINE ❞ PALMCLAN

Seeing how proud Sugarspice seemed with her Warrior's Plight location made a warm feeling fill Rhinestonestar's chest, the leader letting out a little chuckle. This was exactly what he had been intending when he had come up with the tradition. He wanted people to be proud of their connection to Palmclan, or be proud of the creativity they showed when they explained why a location was their favorite. Suga – along with everyone else who had done the plight thus far, honestly – was being a perfect example of that. Rhine cast his gaze up at the trio of palm trees once again, a little smile pulling at the corners of his muzzle before he spoke, "This really is excellent, Sugarspice. And you're right about it being a convenient location for watching the kits at. This way, we won't have to worry about keeping children as closely confined to camp, since we have somewhere we can point them to, and tell them to stay close to." He was sure that Foamkit would be glad for it, along with Quasar and Tree and all of the other little ones within the group.

Looking towards Hauntingdreams when the warrior approached, Rhine found himself snorting softly at the other tom's question. With his tail twitching mischievously back and forth behind him, Rhinestone said in a teasing tone of voice, "Why, Haunting? Planning on coming out here for some peace and quiet away from the rest of us?" Generally, the rust colored feline tried his hardest to be respectful when Haunting was around. That way, the other would hopefully see him as a leader he could trust. However, there was the occasional incident – such as now – when Rhine allowed himself to relax, and just inject some humor into the situation.
