Ever since Vigenere had been captured by the Pitt, Nicabar had found himself trying to figure out what to do with himself. Things shouldn't have changed that much, seeing as most of the members of Tanglewood had their own things they could do, and they had free will, but despite that it seemed as though many were lost without the guidance of their leader, Nicabar included. He had expected Delilah to host a meeting of some sort to let those who weren't at the raid know what had happened, but it seemed as though that hadn't been the case, but that was okay. Everything would be okay, and Nicabar would get Vigenere back somehow.
He was distracted by his thoughts, and at what better timing for Sweeney Callahan, kitsune of the Pitt to come along, killing the serval in a swift blow.
That was the last thing he had remembered anyway, as he soon found himself waking up in a body that felt familiar in size and species, but still foreign to him in ways. He had died, and was now back in a new serval body, slightly larger than his former body, closer to the size an actual serval of his age should be, but still too short to be thought of as an adult, though he was fully grown. The main difference to this body was that there was a rust-colored pattern along his neck resembling teeth marks, the fatal blow he had received only moments before.
And though Nicabar was back in a body, he was making his way back to the territory, but those around would find the bloody spot and signs of a scuffle of where he had died, though no body, for it had been taken with the Pittian.
