[align=center][div style="text-align:justify;width:55%;font-family:verdana;"]Ah, there goes the fun - Aurum really liked to make sure that everyone was on the same page, even if Sterling seemed to have wandered off into his own world entirely. Snarl didn't appreciate it at the bonfire, and she probably wouldn't appreciate it now. He casts a well-meaning grin over at her all the same. He knew her tricks. Appreciated them, when it counted.
To be fair, it probably wasn't best to startle a potential joiner. Though, the longer he waits to give up on this one and wander off, the more Sterling continues to lure them into his own tangential tales. Rather than nod and leave, he's stuck trying to piece together a story from the extended commentary. There was little Kazuhira could put together from his remarks, other than the fact that he'd seen some kind of human intervention in his life, and he wandered into Tanglewood with no true aim or intention. At least, that was all he implied. If Sterling was some kind of spy, or a Pittian disguising his motives, he was doing a damn good job at it. Kaz was as good as lost.
"Ah," Catching up to the conversation, he flicks his ears back, frowns. Suppose they took him into town - he couldn't cause much harm, could he? The stranger seemed friendly enough, even if he had his own doubts. They could figure out the details later, he supposed. "If you're looking to stay, town's back that way. Follow one of us." A flick of his tail directs the party in the general direction of the township. "If not, somebody can escort you out and see you on your way."
