[glow=#2b0505,2,300]SELF-ENTITLED[/glow]
While Argus did stroke his ego with their pleasing shout, Kydobi's words flipped a switch. Now why would he demand such a thing? They did previously discuss an alliance between the two of them, but never anything that was going to be discussed publicly like this. After all, Jervis was all about helping himself. All-mighty and confident, he thought he could handle himself with a few exceptions. Kydobi was not one. Perhaps previously, but not now. A low growl rumbled from the vulpine's throat. "For a month you disappear into the shadows like the sleuthing panther you are and then come back asking for the vicar position," he hissed. "Unbelievable." At this fucking point he'd rather promote Fourthwall.
His ear flicked in annoyance towards Bai Shi, who was presumably standing up for his boyfriend. Thankfully the newcomer had some pleasant ideas, otherwise Jervis wouldn't of acknowledged him. "We will see." With the jungle succumbing to the flames, they were in need of herbs that usually had on hand. Scouring through older territories wouldn't hurt. "If you would like to go ahead with that, you may." The neutral grounds needed a visit once and awhile anyways.
The vulpine merely acknowledged Fourthwall's bluntness with a snarl. With a cocky attitude like Fourthwalls, would he even bother protecting Jervis if he was promoted to a position? Survey says no. Nevertheless, he skimmed over the details of that situation and offered his thoughts towards the hellhound's next set of comments. "Right," he slyly echoed. "We have held back for too long." More like himself. His arrogance and narcissistic tendencies had damned him, but he projected the problems elsewhere. Jervis had merely been too concerned with his own legacy to see that it had been holding others back. He'd been to cautious. In hopes of all going right, he never accepted being knocked back, but now he realized to move forward he needed to be pushed around a bit. After all, that's how his past was. Just like before, blood had to be spilled. The ardent needed to be fearless and cut-throat with the others if they wanted to peak. Persuasion was not cutting it. He could persuade the others all he wanted, but he would get nowhere without doing the dirty work himself. "Consider this our redemption."
A golden eye diverged onto Nari. Their words were bold for a newcomer. Admittedly caught off guard, the fox offered a hesitant smirk. "We fight. Fleeing isn't acceptable," he merely stated. At least they could fight. Jervis would most likely flee amongst the chaos to save himself.
Back on track with the meeting now. Jervis turned back to face his general audience, all of whom were getting involved and asking questions thankfully. "To get things started, we're going to be paying a visit to everyone," he mentioned. As if war was casual. "Though the Elysium is not one of our bigger enemies, I would like to strike them first." A huff left his nose. They would need to understand that it would take time to build up their forces against The Typhoon and Tanglewood. In the meantime, they were going to practice their tactics elsewhere. "Their observatory is going to be destroyed by our forces, leaving them homeless." Not like it mattered to him though. Seeing that Elysium is supposed to be pacifist, their daring leader was probably going to do nothing in retaliation. "As Bai Shi mentioned earlier, we are running low on herbs. Raid them for whatever supplies you could get and then leave quickly before the observatory topples." That seemed obvious though.
The fox shifted on his paws. He was all bark. "The Typhoon and Tanglewood are our last hits after The Blackguard." As for The Blackguard, they would have to wait. Jervis had planned to poison their waters at one point or another, but seeing that they had a change in scenery and leadership, he would have to think more on it. "In the meantime, I'll be gathering plans for those raids and battles within the future." There was a plan he had in mind, like he usually had, but this time he wanted it to go right.
"As always, the rest are open to be tortured, captures, and the like. For fucks sake, even raid them with a smaller group if you're desperate." Not like he could prevent them from doing so. The more chaos amongst the groups, the better. Hell, even pinning their deeds on other clans would screw the others over. "I want to see the river run red and the border to be full of heads by the end of July." Was that a lot to ask? Yes. Did he care? No.
"If there are no more questions or comments, everyone is dismissed."
