Initializing....
Electricity whirled to life, but the source of the sound did not move completely. Both of the creature's eyes remained opened. The left eye had a dark organic brown hue, while his right eye had a red circle showing nothing organic. The red light pulsed through the metallic object for several seconds, before finally, the creature's limbs started to move. It started with a couple of blinks. The being opened and closed his eyes several times, before slowly beginning to raise its head. However, the canine didn't move completely and seemed to stop shortly. There was no confusion that could be seen across his face, and instead a stoic and expressionless would greet anyone that would come across him. The robotic right eye flashed red for a moment before his head turned to look at the rest of his body. His programming immediately began to take over as he attempted to diagnose exactly why he was here and what had happened to him. Had he been shut down? What had happened moments before this?
Accessing memory....
Error
Corrupted memory 56%
That was strange. He didn't seem to remember there every being a reason why his memory could be corrupted in such a way. The unit constantly made sure to check if there were viruses that accessed his system during the times that he was in sleep mode waiting for his job. There was no longer a chance that his memory would give him the answers that he needed, so the next part of his protocol was to check his functions and make sure that they worked.

For the most part, there were little physical injuries to his body. Injuries technically meant little to him, as he could not feel pain. Those that manufactured him from the body of a canine, they replaced a large number of his components with mechanical ones. This included severing several of his nerve endings to make it easier to work with him in the field when it came to law enforcement. Not feeling any pain meant that he could continue his functions and complete his mission despite his injuries. He had been part of the police force, and he knew the mortality rates of K9 units in the field and knew that he would more than likely to die in the field. He was not a pet. He was a robot that was made to follow orders and protect the lives of humans. Maybe something happened out in the field that ended up with him in a strange place. Maybe whatever attacked him tried to salvage him for parts. His robotic eye slowly began to transition from red to yellow as he began to move his appendages. The small canine had metal legs that stopped just below his shoulders, the plating in that area hiding the electrical components underneath. The unit moved so that he was on his stomach, using his legs to eventually stand himself up. After running a diagnosis on his legs to make sure that they could support his weight, he focused himself on the objective at hand.
Current Objective: Protect Leutenant Hal
The android looked around his surroundings, taking in the scenery. His right eye began to flash yellow as he tried to access a form of communication with any nearby cruisers to provide backup in case the situation grew dire. However, as he tried to do so, there was no connection. There was no connection at all. All of his methods of long-range communication no longer functioned, causing him a great deal of concern. The matter at hand was that Hal was nowhere in site after whatever had happened, and it was his job to serve the human in his tasks and the different cases that they took. It was his job, and that was all there was. He knew that the human wasn't capable of understanding him, and those that created him never fitted him with a communicator so that he could speak in the language that humans did as the technology had no permitted it at the time. Flexing his metal claws into the ground, his right eye remained yellow as he began walking around. [glow=#212121,2,200]"Lieutenant Hal!"[/glow] The silver and black colored Eurasian timber wolf called out. To a regular human, it would simply sound like a metallic bark. To other animals, they would be able to understand exactly what he was saying. The K9 unit attempted to scan for any life signs in the area, but was unsuccessful as the range of such ability was incredibly short. He had his K9 vest on as he walked around, making very little sounds with his movements and continued to call out his partner's name. While he did so, he began to check the rest of his functions. All that mattered was Hal's condition and nothing less.
