It had been folded neatly at the base of the platform, revealing the extent of her scarred and injured form as she rolled her shoulders and settled before the grand circle. She had foregone her staple accessory in favor of what she believed was total transparency, though she would admit: everything about this felt odd and so, incredibly wrong. A golden gaze kept shifting towards the entrance of the Observatory, waiting for Moon to waltz in and proclaim that some untimely fever hadn't actually seized him, the events that had just transpired nothing more than an elaborate practical joke (and maybe an excuse for him to take a vacation).

But no such thing happened.

Agathe sighed, biting the inside of her cheek as she went over the things that she needed to address. There was so much but at least she had Titan- not just for this either. Without the lion, she doubted that she would be able to handle this too-strange development. While she would never vocally announce it, she was grateful for him. "Ascendants, gather!" She called, sounding completely unlike herself. She had made plenty of announcements where she came from, exchanging the quiet murmur of her voice for something that was loud and asserted authority. There was no way she'd be get through all she needed to by just barely speaking, after all.

"As you all know, Moon has unfortunately left us. Titan and I have decided to lead together, as the first co-seraphs the Ascendants has ever seen," She paused, as if to collect her thoughts, before continuing, "We will be.... celebrating Moon's life at his burial. More information on that later." Celebrating felt like the wrong word to use, but oh well. She couldn't take it back now. "On to lighter matters. Many new faces have joined us in the past week. Welcome to the Ascendants, do not be afraid to reach out to any of us with questions."

Should she have welcomed them each individually? Goddess, above she didn't know. She just hoped she was doing all of this right. "Atbash has joined us and brought news of Snowbound's demise. Because of that, we currently have no allies. Titan and I will journeying to the Rosebloods soon to negotiate a potential alliance. We also want to reinstate the ambassador program. If you're interested in handling that or serving as an ambassador, let us know."

She inhaled a deep breath, mentally going over her announcements and realizing, with great relief, that she had covered everything she needed to. "That's all from me. Titan will be handling promotions, demotions, and a few other things so don't go anywhere."

[align=center][div style="text-align: justify; width: 60%; font-family: georgial; font-size: 11pt;"]Since joining the Ascendants a month ago, the only leader that Ren had ever known as Moon. Eccentric and an unfortunate early bird, there'd been a certain charm to him that the feline would almost certainly miss. Getting to have an extra minute or so snooze in the morning was one of the few things he was glad to gain from someone's passing, but was it worth it if it meant that a potential friend was no longer with them? Left to contemplate as he approached, the Guardian tried not to dwell on it too much, the tomcat sat down, curling his white tipped tail neatly around his paws. Of course it's not worth it the thought broke through his concentration, quietest of sighs escaping him.

Moon gone, their last ally gone, it seemed that Agathe had to be the bearer of bad news today. The world seemed full to the brim of 'anticlans' as one might call them, surely a time would have to come where common folk tired of a world led by evils. Would he have to try and make them grow fatigued of it himself? Would they come to senses without a gentle nudge? So many questions, so little time. Offering a silent nod to show he understood what was being said, the felidae would keep an eye out for Titan and his own announcements.

[ATTICUS]

▹▹▹▹Atticus had also have the pleasure of meeting Moon. Granted, their one encounter had ended with Atticus being told to call him 'Mistress Moon', but the guy wasn't all that bad. At the very least, despite not knowing him very long, the passing of Moon was no small thing to take lightly or dismiss. Atticus was certain he would be missed; or at least his antics would be sorely missing from the dynamic of this place. The large jaguar softly sighed as he made his way closer to the front, sitting promptly as he dipped his head politely to Agathe; he would do the same to Titan, when he showed up to give the rest of the announcements. He had to admit the idea of two leaders was interesting; yet at the same time he wasn't quite sure that it could fail. The more minds you had focused on one issue, and the more you could delegate tasks across people, the easier everything would be to manage. Perhaps that was their intent in the first place, but he didn't have an issue with calling either of them his leader; albeit he now had every right or reason to call Agathe a Queen if he so wished- and secretly, he wanted to, if only to see her reaction to it after his attempt at calling her a 'lady'.

If he died, it would probably be worth it.

Regardless his head softly tilted at the mention of Ambassadors, and rather their lack of Allies now, considering the offer for a moment before he drew in a soft breath to speak. "I would be happy to handle or serve as an Ambassador," he offered quietly as Agathe's set of announcements came to a close, at least getting the thought there first and foremost while there was a momentary pause between news.

To be honest Risus came at the wrong moment and the wrong time, something was always going on.  The african wild dog trotted up with their tail wagging slightly, for now he was going to avoid a certain lioness who was hellbent on some kind of morbid mission of hers.

He was not a part of her crazy scheme, no sir.  Force forbid if he had to do something in relations to that. He did not want to know what the punishment were, probably pretty painful.

[align=center][div style="width: 540px; text-align: justify; font-family: helvetica; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 1.4;"]Meetings were largely unfamiliar to Alisaie, who regarded the gathering of the Ascendants members as something of a curiosity rather than something that she needed to listen to. She hadn't really seen this many people gathered to listen to just one person, well two. It appeared that the lion and snow leopard that greeted her were important or something.

She listens without making a fuss. Her head tilts towards the side when they mention allies and alliances. It makes sense to her, but at the same time, why would they need to be allies with someone? Wouldn't that mean they just have more work? Thankfully, she doesn't voice her thoughts or volunteer.

Alisaie would make a terrible ambassador.

◜: *✧◞ Ancestors above, Titan would have never thought that he would be in this position so quickly. He had been been a Lunar Lieutenant a week ago, and just a roaming loner a month ago. However, something deep in his soul told him that he was ready for this responsibility. A part of him knew that this was now his destiny to fulfill.

The muscular lion took his place beside Agathe, bright amber visionaries sweeping across those gathered. Once the other Astral Seraph had spoken her part, he prepared his part of the meeting. However, before he started the general announcements, he acknowledged Atticus, "We appreciate the offer, Atticus. We'll speak after the meeting." After all, this was an address to the whole clan, and he couldn't stop right in the middle of it to have a conversation with an individual.

Titan raised his voice for all to hear ( something unusual from the male ), "Adding onto what Agathe has said, we both wish the best for the future of the Ascendants. We will try our hardest to make sure things are stable and secure for us all." He hoped that, if not already, the members of the Ascendants would learn to trust in them.

"There are no promotions or demotions for this meeting, but Gabriel and Onision — for the sake of keeping your positions, you will need to improve your activity." His gaze fixated on that of only Onision, and he added, "Onision, you are free to go near the borders again. Don't make me regret my decision, understood?" His gaze was steely and unwavering, searching the child's features for any signs of hesitance or attitude. Was that a good idea? Perhaps not, but he simply couldn't bar him from the outskirts of the territory forever.

In a matter of moments, Titan had moved onto other matters. "It would also be appreciated if someone was willing to host this week's weekly tasks." That was about it, was it not? Perhaps they would have more topics to discuss next time, but for now, this should have been just enough to absorb and take in. "If there are no further questions, then you are all dismissed." Cool, calm, collected. Hopefully that meeting went well for everybody else.

Vincent had been there since the big scary woman known as Agathe started speaking. The young cheetah was quite intrigued by how this group worked, so he made sure to keep an ear to the ground and watch the everyday happenings of this group. So far he hadn't learned too much, but this "meeting" was something new to him. It made him wonder if these were held frequently. He supposed they made sense, especially when such things as the former leader dying and being usurped by those currently holding the meeting.

Upon himself being referred to he blushed slightly, luckily being alone in his own little corner nobody would notice it. Sure he hadn't been called out by name, but simply being referred to was enough to get him all anxious. Though putting that aside, it would seem that Vin had come at a rather.. interesting time. What with the loss of their leader and the apparent loss of an ally. Luckily he hadn't been here to grow attached to this place, in case if he did need to leave in a hurry. Though whether anything bad really would happen seemed unlikely. He would just have to wait and find out.
