[align=center][div style="text-align: justify; width: 60%; font-family: georgial; font-size: 11pt;"]He may have been a pack animal by species, but Axle had never keen on sharing his food. It was a stray habit that not even the Tanglewood's embrace could break, brought about by a dog-eat-dog survival strategy invoked even when he was 'safe'. Predators needed as much protein as they could scoff down them - screw sharing, working together with near-strangers to take down big game was a challenge far greater than fleeing the Pitt or living among uncomfortable shrubberies. Yet pride be damned, Axle didn't back down from what he'd been asked to do by Delilah, for paranoia aside he could see benefits with getting assistance from equally skilled individuals to take down larger prey. Tanglers had whispered to each other about a lone stag trapped among winding trees, most likely living an exiled life following an unsuccessful breeding season, though far too dangerous to tackle for small cats and dogs, together they could overwhelm. It'd have enough meat on it to satisfy the male, perhaps even quell natural possessive instincts, his patrol would just have to work on not getting injured by hooves or antlers.

"Hunt," his stagnant call ran across what was left of the Tanglewood's population after the ghost incidents, ear flicking uncomfortably as one or two turned to stare at him. A honey coloured gaze instinctively narrowed, the bandanna wearing canine backing off from the center of sanctuary and more towards the exit where he'd be able to escape if need be. Seems like capture had brought about old concerns again, it'd take a while to get some assimilation back. "Heard of stag in woods, good meal if others help,". The Australian Cattle Dog's accent coming out stronger as he spoke his broken English, the time of wait had settled upon Axle. He didn't sit, but his petulant frown seemed to display irritation at something. Most likely, he just wasn't used to having to wait around to satisfy his hunger.

A stag?  Too big.  The petite alabaster and white canine shuffled her paws.  "I-I'll... H-help," the rookie barely believed her own, stuttered words.  She made for a poor hunter, in all truth.  Not entirely for lack of training - it played a part - but for her inability to keep her form stable, or in the same location consistantly.  Catching something, especially something big, seemed impossible to a fox who could hardly mantain a physical form.

However, the gears in her brain began turning, her brows creased worriedly.  It'd be simple to scare a creature out of hiding, or into the direction of her clanmates, through her glitching.  That could work.  Maybe.  Ẃ̵̡h̸͇̯͑͝y̷̡̑̓ ̵̭̙̏̕b̷̢̊ō̷̩t̶̢͆̄h̵̫͒e̵̥̳͋ȑ̵̼̖?̸̻̇̚  She shuffled her paws nervously as she settled near the exit with Axle, waiting for others to volunteer, hoping no one was staring at her ear that kept ghosting, only to rematerialize a few seconds later.

Fortunate for Kiira’s sake, Leroy did not notice the white mammal’s dematerializing ear, for the hound was much more invested in Axle’s proposition. Deer. Simply words’ utterance had the potential to force a grumble from the guardsman’s stomach, and it did. For weeks, the scarce scraps of past meals was all he’d survived on, and his appearance had taken a toll from it. Those strong legs were weakening, his once-rich belly evidently worse for wear. A great chop of venison bode as a perfect meal, legitimately enough to get him back on his feet and start functioning again. If only he had Ophelia to cook it for him.

The dimensions of a stag were not at all too difficult for the hound to overtake, so judging by the number of those present, he could easily see the poor sod dying in a matter of bloodied seconds. Sporting a confident smirk, the canine shifted towards the bandana-clad Axle, projecting the fellow pooch a sly wink, to exultantly quip "’m all for it, govna." The duece weren’t exactly strangers, considering that Leroy moderately saved his ass a while back.

[align=center][div style="width: 450px; line-height: 12px; text-align: justify; font-family: georgia; font-size: 8pt;"]Stag?  The canine smirked, deep brown eyes gleaming.  Venison.  Not a bad thought.  Certainly, a large enough creature to feed a number of the tribe.  Anubis flicked his ear and trotted over, sending a quick glance Kiira's way, brows creased in thought.  The girl had no control of a potentially advantageous ability, although he could easily see how exhausting it was.  Unfortunate.

The relatively new tangler offered the gathering trio a polite smile.  "I'll lend a paw."

After having seemingly failed his comrades several times in a row, Morgan was extra determined to do what he could to help. Inserting himself into the gathering group, he stood near Kiira and forced a smile.
"I'll help. I haven't properly hunted in so long now..."
As he listened to Axle's broken speech, his smile turned more real; it had not been too long since he himself sounded the same way, back when he first joined Tanglewood.

Directly addressing Axle, the General said,
"Just lead on, and we'll follow. It's your task, after all."
He nodded quickly and formed some icy half-armor around his body, pairing it with a matching short spear.
"It'll be a good skill to hone when there're so few of us, anyway."
