Some nights, well, most, now, were often spent looking at the stars just outside the Observatory, Thea easily slipping out of the window of her room to view them. It left her with questions, like how far away they were, and if these were the only stars visible to everybody. Did Snowbound see them? Did Tanglewood see them? It was hard to figure out.
These were the times Thea could have normal thoughts, centered around normal things. She wasn't sure how she felt about that.
So when it seemed like the stars had come down to play, when, in reality, they were fireflies, Thea was more than elated, racing after them and trying her best to swat them, a bright grin on her face as she slammed her paw down on one, trapping it, it's glow barely visible from under her claws.
