Sakaris had many hobbies and activities she occupied herself with. Maybe it was just the want for learning that every child had, but either way, she was always doing something or other. For her, things never got boring. When Video wasn't around, it wasn't hard to find something to do for when he got back, and sometimes it took a while. In these moments she wished she had her mother back, wherever she was. She wished she would come and visit, maybe tell her all about her travels. But for now, she was content with her father, even though he was busy a lot.
Today, she was busying herself trying to catch some new bugs for her collection. Since their territory was made up of all kinds of terrain, it was easy to find all different kinds of bugs. Actually catching them, though, was a different story. Sometimes they would get away, and she'd pout, but eventually she'd get over it or just find another one. This time she was out in the forest part, a bunch of jars at hand. She had made sure to poke holes in the tops, of course.
Sakaris watched, waiting for a bug to come by. Soon one flew by, a beetle with a hard shell that was a dark teal color, eventually landing on a nearby tree after hovering in the air for a few moments. She slowly crept up to it, jar at the ready. "Aha!" she hoots in triumph, quickly bringing down the glass over the beetle, successfully capturing it. The serval quickly secured the top and watched the bug flutter around before settling on one of the leaves she had put in there beforehand.
