Atbash was travelling almost directly here from her visit to The Typhoon, although she had made a small pit stop at home to fetch the gift basket she made for The Ascendants. The Hailcaller made her way towards the group's border, carrying the basket in her jaws. "Hey, it's Atbash from Snowbound!" The she-cat called as she set the basket down upon reaching the border. "I've come to talk about a potential alliance between us."

Because each one brings with them a different story to tell. In theory, she adores the idea of traveling the world to see all of its sights. But she is scared of many things, and those fears keep her within the familiar world. By meeting strangers, she at least gets a little taste of what the outside world is like. Hence, her near constant presence by the border. She is not a skilled huntress nor is she a powerful official of any kind, but she is good at talking with people so Peri sticks with her strengths. "Bonjour, Atbash. Welcome to the Ascendants. My name is Imperia Arceneau." A friendly smile tugs at the corners of her lips as she approaches through the fields of grass. Silver eyes shine with curiosity. "I am merely an Observer her, but I would be happy to keep you company until Bastilleprisoner or Suiteheart arrives." For Peri, it is all about the hospitality. Only Bast and Suite hold any power to accept or deny alliance requests, but perhaps Imperia can make it appeal more to Atbash by being friendly. Well, Peri is always friendly, but that is irrelevant.

As far as Roman was concerned, the Ascendants could use some more clans to call their ally. He knew that tensions were getting high with the Typhoon - how high he couldn't quite say - but high nonetheless. Ro wasn't sure the relationships that they had with many of the other clans, but he was sure that they were not bad with the Snowbound.

Padding over to the border, the domestic feline would take a seat beside Imperia, a small smile on his maw as he did so, head tilting slightly to the side as he listened to the words that she spoke, nodding his head in agreement. "Until they get here though, who are your guys's allies and enemies now?" He'd speak now, tail waving slightly.

Margaery was the next to arrive, eyeing Roman wearily as she did so. She still struggled with the idea that her mother had ben in love with him once-upon-a-time, almost bitter over the fact that he could have been her father- not Nik. He seemed so nice, thoughtful, good... She'd take him over what she had received any day. But she'd never tell him that, too afraid of what might ensue if she was upfront with her feelings for once. Margaery was a bit of an expert of repressing things, after all.

But she supposed none of that mattered now, not as she permitted her gaze to fall upon Atbash. An alliance with Snowbound would be beneficial, she knew that much, and if they were to indeed go through with it, both she and Suiteheart could have access to something that resembled home for them. [b]"Welcome, Atbash," The Cosmic General finally said, a charming smile spreading across her lips, "My name is Margaery and yes, Bast will be here soon."

Most of the time, Bastille was free to stroll up to visitors or newcomers on their border and carry on blissfully pretending he was not the leader here and not responsible for anything. Generally speaking, he could get away with refusing to tell anyone who he was for quite a while, if only because no one exactly assumed he was the leader off the bat; and beyond that, few actually asked that question when they first joined. Perhaps that was inconsiderate of him, sending newcomers off with little knowledge of the structure of things, but whatever. Bast liked to live life in denial.

This, however... This was unfortunate. As he arrived, it was to the realization that they were waiting for him, which meant that a) several people had already named him as their leader (damnit) and b) it must be his business specifically if they were waiting on him, which required... being the leader. Damnit, again. Inhaling to stifle the urge to groan, he offered Atbash a rueful smile. He didn't think he'd even told her he was their leader, when she announced her ascent to Chief. "Uh, hey. I take it they might have asked you some questions already. I just want to know why us," he provided, biting back a yawn. He was tired, but yawning seemed rude. (Even if this was dreadfully boring shit.)

An alliance with Snowbound would actually be quite beneficial. Even as neutrals, they were inviting Snowbound to events and making ambassador visits to their home. It would only make sense to strength the bond between the two groups with an alliance, Roy was honestly surprised Snowbound didn't request an alliance earlier. The melanistic bobcat made his way over, padding in after Bastilleprisoner. Roy's gaze landed on Atbash, a familiar face that Roy has seen twice in the the past few days. "Hello Atbash," Roy spoke up to the Snowbound chief, an ear flicking as the male decided not to introduce himself. He hoped that Atbash remembers him from her border a few days ago, if not- Roy will introduce himself again. He didn't say another word, waiting for Atbash to answer their questions.

The only reason she had showed up here was because of the different scent that had sprang into her nostrils. Her eyes gleamed a bit with interest as she slowly made her way over to the area, eyes flicking over the gathering of animals. Although none of them interest her simply because she had seen them before. Yes, they had become mundane in her daily life which was fine to a degree. But sometimes she wanted some excitement in her life. Which was, she supposed, the reason she had showed up when something new was happening and a conflicting smell had lingered in the air. So the ginger leopard prowled forward toward the area and she settled down after her quick glanced around before she finally looked at the one that had shouted out about something. What had it been now? Something about an alliance. These outposts formed alliances? Like peace treaties? Her head tilted to the side before the agent spoke up, ears pulled forward. Really, the only thing she wanted was information. "What's your outpost like? Just for future reference."

Imperia was the first one to approach, and Atbash dipped her head to her in greeting. "Thanks, Imperia." She chirped with a smile on her maw. Just as she thanked the Observer, another Ascendants came over - Roman (she didn't know his name, though - and asked what their current allies were. "We're kind of starting new." Atbash responded, her short tail flicking. "So basically we don't have any allies or enemies right now, though I'm thinking of going to the Moonlight Vale to seek an alliance between them as well." It was a newer, smaller group, but they've definitely showed promise in her eyes. "We dropped The Typhoon as neutrals." That... had been quite the shitshow, if she was honest, and her heart was still pounding a bit from the interaction.

Margaery and Roy were the next to come over, and Atbash recognized them. They were one of the few faces she had gotten to know well during her visits, other than Bastille himself. Suiteheart was a name she knew, although Atbash couldn't exactly say she knew her as well as the other aforementioned three. "You guys have been visiting us quite a lot lately," Atbash replied to Bastilleprisoner as he came over and looked over at him as she spoke. "Even though we're technically neutrals." She laughed a bit. It was kind of funny, really, that they had been inviting them to things and giving them Ambassadors despite only being neutrals. "I'd like to make us allies so we can do more things together, if possible." Although Atbash wasn't the one to spy or give out information, it was likely Bast could get some information about The Typhoon's camp from her tribe.

Carolina came over, and the Hailcaller tilted her head at the other female's question. "Outpost?" Atbash asked, clearly not getting what the agent was getting at.

Bastille cocked a head to the side at mention of dropping the Typhoon, and immediately felt more inclined towards Atbash. What could he say? He didn't like Pincher. That dude was shady as fuck and had a look like he thought he was smarter than everyone else in the room, that sort of smugness that said he was convinced he'd already out maneuvered you. Bastille didn't care for his attitude and even less for his treatment of Starry, even if they still acted as civil neutrals. He didn't have a reason to make enemies out of them yet, but he wouldn't hesitate if Pinch antagonized, frankly.

He nodded at her other reasoning, and drawled, [b]"Yeah, we're trying to play nice with neutrals, too. Might as well, when there aren't too many others to fill out social calendar with around here." A flicker of a smirk. "But I'm fine with that. Might as well just admit we're practically allies already and shit." Bast wasn't sure if he was meant to do anything in particular to seal the alliance, but he had a feeling she wouldn't expect the same price that Becky had. There was a pause before he added, "So... yeah. Yay us?"
