The faerie was a natural at deception. Infiltration. He excelled at it. He even enjoyed it a little, and perhaps that was why his parents had always been wary of his work as a spy all those years ago. His brothers too. But it was useful, they could not deny that and he hardly ever failed. The endfield imagined his daughter may dispute that, argue they had gotten their fair share of hurts on their escape from the Pitt. He had taken care of the guards. He had been thorough. He had not accounted for running into another child late that night.
Oh well. The past was the past. In that fight they'd discovered a thing or two about Keona herself, about abilities that had laid dormant. In the current matter, he only felt inclined for the first talent they'd come across of during their time in the desert. As such, Séamus had sent a message to the girl before dawn's first light to meet him for a quick session deep in the jungle.
He had to make sure she was capable of utilizing their connection for effective communication. They had not practiced with her mental abilities in some time and he planned to remedy that later, but now was not the time. He had a mission.
So the feathered vulpine lingered beside the deep pool outside the Hidden Colosseum. A rather familiar place now. One he hoped she'd feel comfortable practicing around and a quiet enough spot for explaining he was leaving for a task given to him by Goldie. That's going to go well with her.
