This was a rather big bit of news to Nanohana - albeit, she was quite new to the whole "leading" thing, and politics certainly weren't her cup of tea. But she had company to make up for that. As ivory paws pressed into unfamiliar bog, copper eyes swiveled side to side to glance between Jiyu and Sephiroth. Despite her grandiose appearance at the Rosebloods, Nanohana was considerably more bark than bite, and that tough exterior quickly faded away on their travels as instead the small earthen feline became a chatterbox. Mostly consisting of ramblings to herself over various works of fiction (games, books, and art pieces alike), it would be likely the other two would be sick of her companionship already. Overhead a large leucistic dragon circled and trailed behind them, silent aside from the heavy beats of his wings. The scent of Tanglewood smacked her on the nose like a brick, immediately putting the small feline at a halt. Unlike the way she had marched into the deserts, she did not plan on making such a disturbance here. The whole point was to keep them as allies, wasn't it?

"I believe we're here," Nanohana hummed, sliding her gaze between the calico and lion as her monologue on the colour pink was interrupted. "Have either of you ever been here before?"

[div style="background-color: #292727; color: white; font-family: arial; font-size: 12px; letter-spacing: 1px; text-align: justify; overflow: auto; width: 500px; height: 340px; padding: 10px;"]As expected Sephiroth wasn’t exactly a chatty individual.  He opted not to vocalize his annoyance for the moment, once again coming to the conclusion that properly giving her his service and loyalty would help in the long run, and decided to tolerate the aimless conversation.  He would occasionally nod or hum in acknowledgement as he padded along with Nanohana and Jiyu, keeping his senses keen with the presence of the dragon above head.  He was still distrustful, at the very least on edge and protective of the group he had pledged himself too.  But his loyalty now lied with the new leader by default, so he forced those suspicious thoughts aside and forced himself to keep his loyalty.

The pale lion halted when she did, stopping at her side and shifting his naturally intense gaze down to the smaller cat.  Sephiroth was relieved to finally get down to proper business instead of purposeless banter.  ”Can’t say I have.”  The male Guard responded.  ”The Tanglewood is a relatively recent addition to our allies.”  Not to mention he couldn’t recall any recent activity from them.  Hopefully a reminder of their allegiance would kick them into action.

Nanohana seemed to be even more wet behind the ears than Prestige had been during his reign, which was concerning because that took some real effort. However, if one of her traits had vanished recently it was how rash she had been at one time, and she was willing to simply evaluate over time instead of just observing and reacting. The smaller feline would get her fair day in court so to speak, and until the verdict was out, the Monarch would do her job of supporting the leadership. What else could be her job at this point? Considering she was no guard anymore, damn she really envied Sephiroth, his role in the group was far more defined and easier. Even Vizer would have been easier than Monarch, at least she had seen loved ones act as roles similar, thus giving her something to base things off. With her current position? She was a pioneer, defining what the rank was, and she had never been good at that, she was made to fit a mold no matter how twisted that mold happened to be.

As they had traveled here the smaller feline had begun to remind the calico of two cats she had once loved very deeply, the only two who could get away with forcibly bathing her and decorating her room in unicorns. Nanohana was not completely with it, and this one was going to need serious help just like Prestige had, albeit a far different kind of support. "Not yet, until a short time ago I spent most of my time guarding the territory." she wished for those days back, it was far easier to handle. Yet, that was almost impossible without breaking what little of herself she still knew, as it would require getting demoted which would involve upsetting someone in the group maliciously or such.

As the member of the other group spoke up, the calico looked over to the side at the new Pharaoh, this would be one of the first events that would let Jiyu know what the small feline would truly need from her in order to have a fair shot. Plus, she didn't want to introduce herself anyways, it wasn't necessary.

Unbeknownst to him, he was present when the clan was made an official ally of Tanglewood. He just didn't care to remember since it didn't directly affect him. Whether the three present were at the previous meeting between the two clans were unimportant since he wouldn't remember them anyways. Ren was still new to the concept of allies and because his brain doesn't remember them being allies, he wondered if this was a new group looking to team up. Or a few creatures looking for a place to stay. Either way, it was much more interesting than watching birds scream at each other. Maybe not. He wasn't the one for social interaction so he suppose he'll make that judgment after his investigation. With that in mind, the lynx followed after Vigenere and took his position beside him. Dull dark red eyes narrowed as he stared at the three before him, though he said nothing. He was just there because he had nothing better to do... Maybe support Vigenere if things got messy. Maybe. After a moment of staring, despite the stoic expression on his face, Ren eventually dipped his head politely. He also couldn't detect any ill or hostile intentions so he made sure to at least mind his manners.

Morgan appeared next, stopping beside Vigenere to support him as usual.

"We welcome you here, but it's a bit dangerous right now. There are all kinds of malicious ghosts around, so be careful."

He also tilted his head, confused as to who exactly they were.

"If you're our allies, you'd have to either be the Rosebloods or Sunhaven, right?"

he inquired, echoing Vigenere's question.
